Quite the malet
musk is a complete pseudo intellectual that can barely string sentences together
he is the king of reddit
>we live in a simulation
completely meaningless semantic argument
>electric cars reduces c02 emissions
electricity comes from fossil fuel power plants, transferring higih voltage electricity is extremely inefficient, teslas are heavy as fuck. This means tesla need more c02 emissions
>hair plugs
>afraid of AI
zero evidence of existence of a general AI.
The AI fear is valid as all it takes is one AI going rogue to fuck us all.
That and because AI is a lot more efficient than any human, humans wouldnt be needed for anything anymore once AIs are perfected.
And yeah, the argument that our lives will get better as AIs will handle everything and make products cheaper was proven to be false. The opposite happens in that humans can only compete with AIs in lowpaying jobs that investing in robots doesnt make sense in. The highpaying ones requiring precisions are better done with machines and, guess what, AIs can monitor AIs better than humans too.
Ultimately, competition will again be stiffeled as it takes a lot of money to compete with an AI-perfected process and power will soon be held by the few 0.000001% who got in early on the game.
>electricity comes from fossil fuel power plants
In burgerland only. This is not true in any civilized country. Even China is almost 50% renewable.
If you count burning plastics, dead fetuses and old newspapers as renewable, sure.
>transferring higih voltage electricity is extremely inefficient
Fucking brainlet.

>Transmission and distribution losses in the USA were estimated at 6.6% in 1997,[26] 6.5% in 2007[26] and 5% from 2013 to 2019.[27]
based.
but doesn't change my argument average mid size car is 1500kg, tesla x is 2500kg. Still runs on fossil fuels, still has losses combustion engine doesn't. Teslas emit more c02.
Lithium batteries are their own can of environmental worms
elon is stopping himself from answering fully 90% of the time, because he knows Jack is just doing his mandated govt. shilling and not actually having a conversation with him.
also Jack Ma seems to have at best 100 IQ, and if you were actually smart yourself, you would know full well, that you do not have intellectual conversations with people who are not on the same intellectual level, it doesn't benefit them, and it doesn't benefit you.
I didn't realize Musk acted like a fruitcake though. It's pretty clear Ma is just another braindead CCP sycophant who can only speak in platitudes. That's his role. His company is a cheap copy of Amazon.
>if you were actually smart yourself, you would know full well, that you do not have intellectual conversations with people who are not on the same intellectual level, it doesn't benefit them, and it doesn't benefit you.
This. Sad but true. If you try, these people can hardly followings your arguments and get frustrated while you run circles around them disproving their baby tier reasoning.
electricity can come from renew energy you humongous tard
elon musk is the most glowing remnant of operation paperclip
and how quickly does a new renewable energy source negate the c02 emitted in its creation
if it's weird for woody allen its weird for errol

It's quite hard to fully articulate yourself when you aren't debating in your native language
biowaste does not lead to a net increase in atmospheric carbon as it was already in the carbon cycle.
The issue is burning fossil fuels which haven't been part of the carbon cycle for hundreds of millions of years
they are both brainlets
This too. But you know a guy is full of shit when he says he "isn't a tech guy, he's a watcher."
Transmission is not conversion which is what he actually meant. You're in the iq valley smart enough to google, too dumb to understand intention.
That aside a honest view would consider the manufacturing & resource costs to produce "renewable" energy. Once you do that wind & co doesn't look as amazing anymore.
I’ll trust the guy who runs a profitable company
>there's a water shortage in California therefore nuclear
>windmills suck and kill birds therefore nuclear
>large scale solar farms are expensive and intrusive therefore nuclear
>renewables are expensive
Where I live all power is 100% renewable with the cheapest prices in the world and a huge excess sold to foreign companies. I have nothing against nuclear but I don't understand people who don't want to put in effort to be locally sustainable. It's the only way to have any long term security.
also fossil fuels are a limited resource. guess what? want to increase power output by 1000%? forget carbon, there's not actually enough fossil fuel to do that. but renewables can achieve that.
Who gives a fuck about carbon. Warming/cooling is caused by changes in solar cycles.
NO you have to give hillary clinton all your money to fix it!
REEEE
Literally this. Boomers who buy a new Chevy Tahoe when they clearly have the wealth to buy a Tesla.
Living near a hydrodam doesnt count
"Fossil fuels" are renewable. Unorthodox theories (with a lot of Russian backing) postulate that oil and gas are formed naturally deep in the earth"s crust. That is, natural renewable non-organic oil formation.
Muh dinosaurs
Really Jow Forums? Fucking really? When did this place get so fucking retarded? Jack Ma "stepped down" from Alibaba. You should be shorting but not because of gook social gimmicks you bunch of Facebook using queers.
>Who gives a fuck about carbon.
liberal ideologues and people living @ 20m above sealevel.
>Warming/cooling is caused by changes in solar cycles.
correct
Yeah I was talking about the Alibaba guy. Tesla has lost more money than it has made.
As the world heats up plants release water vapor into the atmosphere which is a much more potent greenhouse gas than co2. The cloud cover decreases plant growth which relies on sunlight and the vapor reduces to find a sustainable equilibrium. Fill a greenhouse with co2 and measure how much more heat it retains. It will be a tiny amount more because co2 is slightly better at it than the normal atmosphere. We double the amount we pump into the atmosphere about every decade which forces the water vapor equilibrium to a hotter value. If this process continues for long enough it's possible we reach a point where the previously dominant plant based equilibrium becomes irrelevant and we have a runaway effect where more heat releases more greenhouse gasses which heats things more in turn. I think it's more plausible than guys like you say but it's also not as likely to happen soon as the other side claims. Things will get considerably warmer before we take it completely seriously but not runaway warmer.
electric cars consume less if you built them to
teslas are basically a sports car but electric, they're not the standard
also, for electrics to replace fossil fuel cars there needs to be more nuclear energy plants, which are the safest and most eco friendly power plants
yea
teslas are not the standard on electric cars
the point of an electric car is to have a 2 seat small car for short distance travels because that's what cars do 90% of the time
At first I was going to laugh at Jack Ma, but he's unironically smarter in this scenario than Musk. Musk is actually exemplifying the 'dunning kruger' effect wherein the little bit he knows about technology/science/philosophy is causing him to have very lofty ideas. Ma's more simplistic reasoning is denigrating as being overly intuition dependent, but intuition is highly underrated, heuristics are powerful.
>>we live in a simulation
>completely meaningless semantic argument
>>electric cars reduces c02 emissions
>electricity comes from fossil fuel power plants, transferring higih voltage electricity is extremely inefficient, teslas are heavy as fuck. This means tesla need more c02 emissions
Imagine being this retarded, seriously you probably are a nolinker
>transferring high voltage electricity is extremely inefficient
what the actual fuck
the chink won this one tho
top kek, please inhale carbon next time before posting
