Get this, my friends who studied liberal arts, humanities, and African ass-blowing studies, are working for the state or local governments making 60k+ a year with pensions in an air conditioned office with plenty of chances to network with qts. Meanwhile I’m fixing toilets paying off my 5 figure plumbing trade school debt being surrounded by lo iq retards because biz told me fixing toilets is redpilled and has better opportunities than studying classical literature at university

>Another larp thread
Go write a blog

That's gotta be soulcrushing bro. If ANYONE can take something away from our stories...i hope they don't listen to this fucking website for financial or life advice.

I literally cry at night sometimes thinking about how stupid i was to listen to these fuckers on this board.

I'm rich as fuck and go to school just to fuck bitches.

Fuck that’s based

Larp. Either way it's about who you know, not what you know

Wait you guys actually fell for the trades meme? KEK, why did your parents let you become a plumber instead of going to college?

Really? My friends that studied African ass-blowing instead of STEM are dying of terminal poverty as I type. I should link you their FB's I'm sure they're doing worse than you.

>following advice ever
The fundamental problem is you're both followers. Someone fed you a narrative and you just followed it. It doesn't matter if you're a tradecuck or an academic cuck you're still a cuck.
Thoughtfully taking on board the information from the advice is different from following it.

How can we learn to follow our own intuition user?

Mediate or something. Maybe in a cave on top of a mountain for effect.

You don’t know shit, you spend your free time feeling smarter than people actually making a living while you sit there like the Virgin that you are

Same here 25 and been just trading all year so essentially burning through ~0.2 BTC a month

If you made important life decisions based on Jow Forums's advice then you've already made a terrible mistake. Rectify that shit while you're young.

You're still looking for someone to follow. What if I knew all the answers? How would that be relevant to your life? Words only convey surface level meaning but you want someone else to utter a magic incantation that makes you understand what life choices to make. The only thing close to such an incantation is telling you to follow Christ but really those are also just empty words that can trigger all kinds of different reactions.

They're definitely not happy Facebook is designed to make you feel inadequate compared to your peers or to promote degenerate behavior Facebook serves no other purpose than this

You've summed up your life and made it dependent upon an app I feel sorry for you

story ofmy life minus trade school debt. Pisses me off when people with shit degrees make more than people who study applicable shit. Now I need a yr for a bachelors. Fuck me

>I literally cry at night sometimes thinking about how stupid i was to listen to these fuckers on this board.
Audible kek!

and ya, the trades are a meme. Complete dogshit in every way. Bunch of uncultured pigs. Shit pay. Shit work. Why did faggot god punish me?

I’m going to be real with you guys
>spent some time as a NEET
>eventually started college
>finished with an operations management degree
>got a job as a manager
>almost done with student loans
>stable living
and I’m more miserable now then I was as being a NEET, my ultimate goal is to become sustainable enough where I can return to just being able to NEET around in the house

My life isn't a joke

Im the opposite. All my friends that studied niggers at college are living with their parents or roommates at 30 except for one who lives in his van.

OK fren, I never said it was.

this is my goal too. About to finish my Civil Engineering degree. hoping to make enough to eventually live off of stock trading so i dont off myself after working in an office for 35 years

Based, my plan is to build a hefty amount to sustain me by the time I’m 35 so I can NEET around until death

>15594403
Jow Forums never told you not to study stem. Your a fucking liar and making excuses. Jow Forums told wamyn not to go to college in search of cock.

>not starting your own company

Your job is unironically more secure than the liberal arts ones.

To be fair you are both low IQ because there are plenty of people like myself and others who advocate going to college but the general gist of it is go for a marketable major (engineering, medicine, CS, accounting/not finance) at the cheapest accredited university (that doesn't have a terrible reputation like Phoneix) or a top tier school (like an Ivy league or Georgia Tech)

Also your friends who studied arts or some BS field are the exception. You are either lying or straight retarded. Those guys will be straddled with $60k student debt while having to go fix toilets.

>Also your friends who studied arts or some BS field are the exception.
Delusional
visualcapitalist.com/visualizing-salaries-college-degrees/

The source of that data is important. Who are they interviewing? Is it arts graduates from Ivy league schools or from bumfuck university? Is it self reported incomes? Have they reskilled and acquired another degree say a Masters in accounting, data science or computer science.

>on Facebook some literal who’s look happy
What’s new op. Social media is a scam. If you focus on yourself for a long time you can achieve whatever goal it is you have.

It says on the site. All colleges, yeah, no logical reason to expect it.

It obviously helps if you pick a valid major but the starting salary for the absolute worst paying one is better than the median salary for Americans of ALL AGES, and way above average starting salary for non grads

Btw it depended on survey data so it is not as reliable as you put forth. Furthermore you can expect college graduates at the very least to have an IQ of 100. Whereas people who cannot get admitted into colleges are really stupid given that colleges are so money hungry they will take in anyone.

It's infinitely more reliable than making shit up or ancedotal evidence. Obviously people who go to college are smarter, but if they didn't go there would be no way of anyone knowing since in the us at least for middle class kids the only reason you don't go is because you can't get in or drop out

I spent six figures and 8 years of my life in university for 2 degrees. Now I can brag about my $150k salary and advanced education to a bunch of NEETs. Worth it.

Maybe you're a college administrator with a PhD in administration or some jerkoff equivalent but if you control for IQ I would be certain that non-college grads would only be marginally worse off.

forbes.com/forbes/2009/0202/060.html#ed63a0556f94

Again I am not against college like I started in my first post.

The trick is to not be American

Dude you weren't meant to take it literally. It's all an ironic joke like buying chainlink

>Become a lawyer look how much they make!
>Literally better call Saul
>Become a doctor they're rich!
>Huge debt, years of school, horrible work schedule, most only become local doctors make under $100k per year.
>Comp sci!
>Everyone comp sci and very competitive, not a top student end up making $50k a year in Missouri or some nowhere shithole.
>Finance
>Biz tier poor
>Arts
>Youll be a Secretary or a junkie
>Trade school
>Literally become a janitor for $30k a year

Jeez it's like no matter what you do you're fucked. It's almost as if life won't hand you a pile of cash for doing your best, which is the bear minimum. It's almost as if those top students who tried to be better than everyone actually made it! And here you are jerking it to anime and hucking dice at online ponzis because you were too busy in high school to sit down for a couple of hours and learn shit you thought was boring. Be honest, if you made it now it's cause you got lucky and has nothing to do with hard work.

close, its not about hard work, if you know the right people, you’ll be set regardless of major

Same guy had to go

Again you’re just making shit up. That article from 10 years ago is pure mental gymnastics and wrong as shown by pic, at the end of the day in the us median lifetime earnings are far higher and the job you’ll be working is far more enjoyable.

If there was any proof to what you’re saying post statistics backing it up. This is net worth which considers debt, lost years etc unsurprisingly college grads dominate.

>letting Jow Forumstard influencing your personal decisions
You were already too stupid for college user, it was a litmus test

What's "bear minimum"?

>dad fucking rich and knows all the right people
>no son it's better if you succeed on your own
>ok makes sense i guess
>talks to the right people so they hire his wife's son on a cushy job
>mfw
