Im interested in getting a token but not sure what i get for holding it. Just the ability to stake first? Im trying to find some more hard info but just finding the usual shit medium articles

my problem is im dog shit at computer stuff in general. i set up a node using the guide but thats as far as i can get as i do not have the skill to go past that. I was thinking if i buy the min amount of LP just to get to staking.

so the incentive to hold this is just to stake early right? Also whats the payout out for how much LP i hold? Like if i hold 1 will i get 5% pay out if hold 2 will i get 10% etc etc.

Nobody knows the returns yet. If staking starts and demand increases, other pools will pop up, because the more LINK you have staked on your node, the more credibility it has which means more and better jobs. LP share won't get you anything either way if there is no big demand. And if there is, then other pools will pop up either way. Basically if you didn't buy LP at the start, then you're better off just buying LINK atm since some more "prestige" pools in the future might have some LINK limit, like 10k LINK minimum or something. That's just something I thought about.

You get dumped on at some point by their team, who own 3/4 of all the shares released, and have nothing preventing them selling this at all
