How to make money from the recent attack on Saudi Arabia

So, Houthis from Yemen attacked a saudi refinery, and it is expect that oil is going to raise at least a couple dollars per barrel. Obviously buying crude oil futures, at least for the next couple of days, is probably going to be profitable. Is buying stock in Valero, ExxonMobile, BP, etc (gas and oil companies), also a good short term move?

Try trading petrocurrencies on forex, if you're comfortable with your grasp on geopolitical issues.

You should have already been invested in oil nigger.

Invest in precious metals. Watch them regain all their losses from the previous 2 weeks.

A more plausible prediction would be that this is going to make prices rise short-term. But if current global economic downturn keeps going down, there will be less trade and thus, far less demand for oil. So if we don't go to war with Iran (I believe war with Iran is very, very unlikely) oil prices should go down to maybe 70% of their current evaluation in the long run.

Less trade also means less demand for silver, since half of the silver mined is used for industrial purposes.

Buy oil futures.

Sell oil in a week or 2 before it returns to normal
Go balls deep in gold because arabs cant get enough of the stuff and the global down trend isnt even beginning.

In in SLCA, which mines silica to make propants for fracking.

I know a recession is on the horizon, but is there any indication that it is going on right now? It seems to me that it is business as usual.

Thanks. I wish the saudi plant would have been attacked a couple days ago. SLCA's dividend declare date was on the 13th :(

I'm glad crypto has gone sideways for a while so we can start having threads like this again

The recession usually starts 9 months after the yield curve inversion at the earliest, and that happened a month ago.

Doesn’t oil normally take a shit during recessions?

Don't participate in such games user.
Just do the right thing. Either trade or invest.

It also usually doubles right before one too. Get out then and short and you'll be a rich man

The Saudis plan to get 1/3 of the lost capacity recovered by Monday. The production time for crude is 2-4 weeks. So if the production recovers by then, the prices will after that lag.

israel blew it up to blame iran

The Saudis are garbage at fighting. That's why they rely exclusively on European pmc's.

>couple dollars a barrel
>half of saudis production off line
You’re a dumb basement faggot
