Who here comfy?
Who here comfy?
Don't you need a special type of insurance? If you get in a rek while using your personal vehicle you won't get anything covered
What is this?
>$150 a night
How do you have money to have fun?
It'd be better if there was a way to travel as fast as a car but more nimble. I've actually wondered if a scooter might be good for DD
But it's annoying having to drive everywhere, park go in start the car again get back on the road. Deal with traffic blah fucking blah
I also feel bad making my little car work so hard. A 4 hour stretch on the freeway would be one thing but 4 hours worth of city driving is rough
Doordash, look into it. You need to be in the right market though. Good luck user
factor in the gasoline and you're making less than minimum wage lmao
It takes a huge fucking toll on your car
I worked for them for less than two weeks, had great ratings for everything but acceptance rate, which was around 20% because they wanted me to take absolutely garbage jobs that weren't even worth it. Got an email saying they closed my account with no explanation. Never even bothered to follow up on that. So much for being your own boss. Total shitjob, blessing in disguise that they fired me for being too smart about which orders I accepted.
They don't even ask for proof of insurance lol, the orientation meeting was full of barely literate total slobs that were hired on the spot. Would absolutely never order from them based on the kinds of people I saw employed there.
>they fired me for being too smart about which orders I accepted.
You sure showed them
If I get a motorcycle, that would be a fun side gig.
>brags about gross income
>doesn't factor in gas and car maintenance and depreciation
These apps pray on the dumbest motherfuckers, enjoy your $5/hr delivery job
>implying you don't incur gas expense and car depreciation at almost any job
Are the anons here really this fucking stupid? you're literally just spending the entire shift driving city miles, what don't you understand about that?
It's alright if you live in a big city, but in a shitty town somewhere in Indiana, you will constantly fight black people and mexicans for hours.
95% of the time, I couldn't even schedule hours because they would all get taken as soon as new hours opened up, and when I could get in, I never got any orders because "there are too many dashers on the road" (the message that pops up when you press a button marked, "Why am I not getting any orders?"
Orientation? All I had to do was link my bank account. No orientation whatsoever lmao
Very comfy desu. Indeed 100$ a day . $20 in my tank and I can go for a day and a half . At some point I know I'll have to get a conventional job though.
Better than the new $2/hr minimum wage in OK
>commute to office job in a city
>also all city miles
Looks like you're the retard buddy
Wait til it gets saturated lol
also self-employment taxes.
Literally self-employment taxes as well as time lost. You're a fool.
Luckily for me my job isn't using my personal car to drive around for 8 hours to get $100
