It is a new funding mechanism for new companies. They create a node and you can stake with them. You will get their coin and they will get Nuls which they can sell to fund their company. That is called sco. It removes some problems of the ico

Difference is now they have a blockchain that is #4 according to the commies in China PRIOR to Nuls mainnet two. I expect Chinese will rank it #1 in the next round of rankings. On top of all this, you can buy it for close to airdrop price instead of the $4-8 range for most of 2017. Pretty low risk when you can get it for this cheap and the project is this mature with prefunding for 2.5 more years

Ledger kept delaying and then it got delayed when they decided to make nuls 2.0. No sense in the team pushing it for 1.0 when they’d need to redo it in a year.
