You need to have previous work to show for yourself.

If you don't then the next best thing is to find someone willing to put their neck on the line for you and outsource some of THEIR work to you. It won't be cheap, you will earn pennies because they are literally risking their good reputation should you fuck up.

Over time you will build your portfolio. Be it writing blog posts, designing coin logos for pump and dumps, putting together banners, writing adsense ads, fucking spamming /biz, etc. Everything remotely decent just put it in your portfolio and eventually you will find clients yourself without needing to go through a third party. It helps to give off a positive vibe and appear as if you are a professional in your niche. You can fake it til you make it, it's actually fine. Being friendly and chill and a cool guy won't get you anywhere.

It's virtually impossible to just "make it" as a newbie on upwork or Fiverr although on Fiverr there seems to be LESS competition. honestly I would say be an airdrop hunter. There are tons of airdrops going on. Join those groups and just get in on every airdrop possible.
