It's actually kinda complicated. I use Photoshop Elements. You start with an image and use filters, sketches, and comics and adjust the shading, hardness, and line weight t get what you want. You need to play around until you get what you want...fool around alot!. Start with a large image and do not reduce the size until you've achieved the effect you want, then adjust the size to fit the donor comic or 3D cartoon. Depending on the donor comic you can distort your cut image to fit. When working with comix the forced perspective and distortion doesn't see to matter as much as when doing a traditional face swap as comics are usually a bit distorted to begin with. Have fun.
