Apparently Snopes knows more about gun crime than the FBI

I was under the impression that Snopes was satire like The Onion.

Action : Whenever you see an article / tweet / post on normie media that makes you want to sperg out, but you can't act for fear of revealing your power level, simply reply with the following statement :

Goals :
- Demoralization. Make them realize that every action they take is counterproductive.
- Subtly imply to bystanders that 'ordinary' people are already right wing. Remember, the major social currency among normies is conformity. If they believe that everybody else is moving right, so will they.
- Point out that the rise of the right is a consequence of the actions & voices of the left.
- Show 'the left' and the normies that we are everywhere, and that we are watching. Again, this plays into the normie desire to 'fit in'.
- Embolden those who are already on the right but are kept silent by fear of social repercussions (see previous point).
- The comment is polite and violates no 'guidelines'. They can't shut it down.
- Short comments are more likely to be read, often more so than the actual article / post / story.
- Create an atmosphere that discourages leftists to post in the first place.

This is solid enough that you could even post it on real accounts. If you ever have to walk it back just say “I AM a leftist myself. It was sarcasm. I meant that stuff like that damages OUR cause.” Even then, the statement has value as a divide and conquer strategy (ie. “a real leftist doesn’t believe that stuff”).

It doesn't matter whether you believe any of the above or not - the purpose is to make *them* believe it.

Government statistics are wrong. Remember that shit in Broward about arrest quotas? The thing where cops were arresting a certain number of people then just not arresting more becuase it looks bad on their stats and hurts how much money they get from the feds? That literally happens in almost every police department in the country. i.e. all crime stats are virtually worthless. Or how Sweden is staying so safe after importing all of the peaceful, totally not inbred sand people?

The point is that Snopes is a leftist propaganda outfit. They're picking and choosing what government statistics they want to call fact and which ones they want to disagree with. The reality is that a "fact' checking mechanism is almost 100% doomed to fail because bias, cherry picking, and propaganda are overwhelmingly more powerful than the desire to report actual facts.

Anyone who doesn't start their discussion with the above as a GIVEN is either a fucking idiot or consciously lying to you.

A website that fact checks stuff. They used to be alright but they're been partisan as fuck for ages now.

So their basic premise is "there's an ambiguous category of "other", which is probably hiding a bunch of rifle murders!!11!" Those dumb faggots don't know hot apply statistics. Assuming the distribution of rifle and handgun crimes is the same where the weapon is known, you can easily apply percentages to the "unknown" category:

7,105 - handguns
374 - rifles
3,263 - unknown
903 - other

5% of crimes where the firearm is known, it's a rifle. Apply that same percentage to 3263+903 * 0.05 = 508. For a whopping total of 508+374=882 rifle murders. Meaning, out of the TOTAL NUMBER OF MURDERS, rifles account for just 7.5%. Up from the initial estimate of 5%.
