The solution is easier. Many of us started out as either centrists and leftists and changed our opinions over time as the evidence piled up.
Start light conversation, get them to start thinking. The main thing that most of their mental conditioning and ideology does is prevent critical thinking and prevent them from seeking knowledge. It's efficiently the equivalent of auto-immune disorder for the mind. Drop red pills. Subtle or blunt, depends on the situation. University professors have been telling their students to go on here and try to get us to change our minds or shift our focuses. Show them the light, and they will eventually see the way. Maybe one in five might see the way, but the other four will start feeling like theres a worm in their mind. Long term they will start thinking about the things we point out, and while the one in five will become immune quickly because they were only slightly indoctrinated, the other four more indoctrinated will start seeing the error of their ways. It may take years, but eventually they will be absorbed into the hivemind. Like it or not we are all tethered here, we are part of a greater thing. I'm not one to believe in the supernatural but the strange feeling of hive minded thinking makes me wonder.
