I saw Death Wish 4. It was a classy flick.
Wind River.
that milking shit in SW was when I lost my faith in the brand. still watched the whole movie but they can fuck themselves with the rest of the franchise. SW is dead to me. not like it matters because there are plenty of retards still paying for SW related shit.
Yes.
Lion was awesome. Didn't expect it to be but wow it was good.
I will never watch another movie
Baby raping and killing jews and their friends who support them deserve death not money
Calm down, twas pretty good mang!
This isn't /tv/ you fucking kike.
ÄR DET DU SOM ÄR DÖDEN?!
Jow Forumsacks should stop watching and talking about (((Hollywood))) crap. It's beyond salvation now.
The last mainstream movie I saw was Interstellar. Other than that I just watch movies that I never got to see when I was younger or just couldn't understand at the time. I will never go to the movies again and I will never watch tv again.
Two days ago I downloaded There Will Be Blood. Pretty decent movie.
John Wick 2 was literally the last good movie I ever saw.
The King Of Comedy
>they remade Flatliners
wtf
I watched Annhiliation last night, it was pretty good, reminded me of Stalker, which is a comparison I rarely see anyone making. But then again I rarely see anyone interpreting the film as I did.
The film had an all female cast aside from Oscar Isaac as a solder and an interviewer. The female cast are all scientists and doctors of some sort and it's implied that they only go into the "shimmer" because they've like, run out of soldiers or something (or given up on them because they keep sending them in and they never come out), which is a little weird to me, and only further highlights the whole "disposability of men" aspect of our culture that we seem to be fucking blind to.
3 billboards was good. Main character won't tolerate anybody's shit and goes off on a vigilante mission with fuckup ex cop who turns to SIG for retribution.
Agreed. It felt like a movie from the 1980s, before political correctness fucked everything up.
I watched In The Mouth Of Madness and it was pretty good. Not the best Carpenter film, but still enjoyable and weird.
Logan Lucky
Currently on a stop-motion binge. Watched Fantastic Mr. Fox last night - hilarious movie with outstanding animation and a deeper and more mature themes than you'd expect to see in a stop-motion movie. Looking forward to Isle of Dogs next month. Going back to watch Laika's films in the meantime (Coraline, Paranorman, The Box Trolls, Kubo and the Two Strings).
Annihilation was released to theaters in the US and to Netflix for the rest of the world. Maybe my opinion would be different had it been included with Netflix in the US, but I thought the movie was awful. So many plot holes and characters exhibiting behaviors real people would not.
Annihilation was interesting, definitely had a stalker vibe to it. Unknowable alien presences and all. Natalie Portman bad acting always takes me out of a movie though.
Saw that a couple weeks ago - amazed movie that good slipped under my radar. Channing Tatum was great, Adam Driver had an especially good performance, and I was surprised to see Daniel Craig show up out of nowhere and become a main cast member. Probably one of the funniest movies I've seen all year.
Honestly the movie is really only worth seeing for two or three standout scenes where it showcases these ordinary people dealing with a bizarre and wholly alien environment, like the stuff with them uncovering the aftermath of all the old teams or the creepy ass bear... the rest of the movie is boring, badly acted, and completely lost up its own ass.
Antonius Block: Du fick svart.
Döden: Det passar ju bäst så. Inte sant?
I couldn't get through the trailers. You're rotting your mind with this horror crap, user.
Been watching a lot of classic Italian horror films and general Giallo films. French new wave has a lot of great films and you should consider exploring the work of famous directors that popularized the style to learn what real film is.
I almost went to see this because of Soy Letter Media but decided not too because I thought they were only praising it so much because of muh all female cast. Seems like I was right. I just can't trust their reviews anymore, Jay has turned into a TOTAL faggot.
One of the funniest movies I've seen in years.
>IMPLYING???
space faggots laser shit
Tomb Raider wasnt bad, like it wasnt muh girl power and shit. It felt like AVP but I like AVP so....
>people actually watch hollywood blockbusters
Jesus get some taste
Stop liking what i dont like
Good movies pretty much don't exist anymore. Faggotry and sjw themes for the most part.
salyut 7 and The Spacewalker
yess
the classic
Not entirely true.
You do have to search out solid indie films not pushing any narrative, but they do exist.
Try:
The Sessions
Lars and the Real Girl
Primer
Time Crimes
Let the Right One In
Right at Your Door
Coherence
The Man from Earth
Krisha
Mr. Nobody
Actually if you read the book series the explanation for the all female team is explained and reasonable. Basically the military installation in charge of monitoring and investigating the Anomaly have secretly sent dozens and dozens of missions into the interior and each one has had something different happen to it.
By the time of the first book Annihilation the Southern Reach center is basically running on fumes and is just trying everything so their latest field team is designated to be all female, civilians, who don't know each other, even each other's names.
But that take alot of film time in exposition so they just dropped it and in the film they're an all female team just because.
I didn't think annihilation was a bad movie but "the shimmer" isn't defeated at all, nor does it have consciousness. It's a bubble of a neighboring dimension that's extruding into ours like an ulcer
went out and saw the new Bruce Willis Death Wish and it was honestly good dumb fun
I gotta love anything with Sam Neill in it.
If you want a good HP Lovecraft film adaptation watch Dagon, it's a Spanish coproduction of The Shadow Over Innsmouth. Aside from a change of location the themes and plot are relatively faithful.
The HP Lovecraft estate also produced "The Whisperer in the Darkness" as a retro and very explicitly faithful film. It's worth watching even for just the filmography.
Most recent film I've seen in theatres was Blade Runner 2049.
Haven't really had a reason to go back and see anything else. Might watch The Shape of Water soon, if only because I love Del Toro.
This is exactly why I saw it. Godamnit
>The commuter
was decent anons As well as
>A walk among the tombstones
Others to consider
>To live and in LA
>Anamorph

Fuck the Joovies
Leave fucking juvies to Hollywood
