Under communism, what would motivate people to be creative? If they're going to get money anyway, and they're not going to get more money for creating something, why would they spend the effort to write a book, or paint; when they could just not do any of that, just sit around and do nothing, and get the same reward?

That's one big reason communism fails. It doesn't factor motivation. Why would anyone put in the effort to become a brain surgeon when youre going to make as much as a janitor?

As soon as I started debating these morons, the thread was deleted. I created a second thread about specifically the great leap forward to discuss it and that was deleted on the spot as well.

socialism in theory means that the people as a whole are in charge (in practice many states called socialist do not do this) and Nazism definitely did not do that. It was totalitarian and not at all answerable to the people
