Corbyn isn't a hardcore commie. He's a social democrat. He's just the ground work to drag the country further left. If Corbyn gets in, I wouldn't expect to see much change from your perspective. However, if he ends austerity and proves it was never necessary and shows the Tory lies and cruelty for what they are and if Murdoch dies during his term, the Tories will be in serious trouble, which could start the transition into socialism.

You've got two choices. You can do it sneakily. A bit of nationalization there, food bank expansion here. You have to get to the position where you're ready to oust them or absorb them onto your side. Or you do it quickly with a fever of populism. You quickly get a referendum on the House of Lords before they can do anything about it and get them out. Then quickly promise them positions in your government and get them on your side. If you don't do that they'll flee abroad and get support to rally against you. You need them where you can keep an eye on them.

The current economic system in the west is built on debt. Student debt, mortgages, car loans, credit cars, etc. every citizen is just a means to move debt around and make more 0's appear on a computer balance.
