Check if there is some way to get a government funded degree while being in Obrona Terytorialna. Having a degree you only need some short additional preparation to become an officer, because their structure is more flexible that in the regular army, at least from what I heard/read.

Well, I meant that there is some demographic decrease and many universities lack new students, so they welcome all new students, the only problem is the financial aspect, but I guess that there is some way to get the support, even for foreigners. I'm more surprised hearing tha it's possible to join the Territorial Defence without not having Polish citizenship.
Anyway, I have some friends who may know more about future possibilities, but I would have to ask them first, but if you are interested we can exchange emails. I have some "trashy" address I could post here.

I have done research into this and it's really the only realistic way of getting there legally. Besides, as I said earlier for an American 3000Euro is like 3,500USD and this is absolutely dirt cheap for university. American schools are insanely expensive. I have some help as well, my family supports my decision at least. I will also be looking for some work while I am there to help pay for room and tuition. I wanted to move to Krakow but the English courses offered don't match my interest in study so I went with another option instead. It will be more expensive, but if I work hard it will be worth it.

The program I am entering is only for 3 years and after those 3 years I will decide my next move. I already sort of worked out a potential plan of action. The English program I am entering is big but it is still new and lacks experience. I will be one of the few, potentially the only native English speaker in the program. Speaking with the university representative, there is a chance for future employment as a professor of the English program if things work out. But all of that is far in the future and I don't want to get ahead of myself. For now, this seems like a solid plan of action that I am going to work hard to follow through on.

Poland actually stopped the Bolshevik offensive during the Polish-Soviet war (BTW, during the war Germans tried to help the Soviets), then Germany signed the Rapallo agreement with the Soviets and finally they signed the Ribbentrop-Molotov pact against Poland and other ANTI-COMMUNIST countries in our region, so there was a mutual German-Soviet invasion in 1939. Poland wasn't communist at the time. They just refused to fight the USSR and wanted to remain neutral, which was a major problem for Germany since they needed as much of a "corridor" as possible to invade the USSR due to its massive size.

Yeah in 1920 when the USSR was incredibly weak. 2 decades of industrialization and American investment made the USSR one of the most powerful countries on earth.
Only a combined effort could have stopped the USSR and Poland refused to help because they were selfish. Germany had to resort to tricking the USSR into a fake alliance and then zerg rushing them.
