For the 2015-2017 period the internet, and youtube to be more specific, started becoming more "right winged"
Although that was mostly a counter-culture effort to defeat the previous progressive phase (2012-2014) the now called "skeptic" phase grew and grew, with the popularization of Jow Forums and right winged spokesmen
But now something peculiar is happening, new lefty channels, like contrapoints in the pic, are beggining to rise, and while most of contrapoint's theories are the same we heard from the left time after time, they are starting to get more recognition with the death of the "alt-right" bandwagon
And it is a bandwagon, a good one but one notheless, and as such, many people joined this bandwagon out of societal pressure, but more and more we see the birth of the new Nu-Left tottaly-not-a-bandwagon bandwagon, that adheres to the people that followed our bandwagon but now, after being confronted with the nu-left, want out of mr bones wild ride
This is the beggining of the new age, the age of "THE MODERATES" the people too stubborn to outright deny their previous influences and become honorary members of the church of left, but far too weak to actually commit to their previous beliefs either due to lack of attachment or due to not being able to handle social pressure
You will constantly see these people complaining how we are so deluded for falling into the temptations of "the evil nazis" without realizing that they do the same
Besides this, they are fairly common to pre-nu-left lib, using the same moral high grounds and such
My question is, with the political momentum that surrounded us in favor of them now, do you think this will change the rise in power of the previous "skeptic" movements?

The biggest obstacle for us is they have corporations on their side. For example Youtube is supposedly getting rid of gun related channels but i havent seen ANY big corporations in favor of the 2nd amendment and this is just one example out of many. We need people in positions of high authority to join our side or get some anons to get into those positions or companies and subvert them from within. Either way we’re fighting an uphill battle but we have truth on our side while they only have appeals to emotion and knee jerk reactionary bullshit.

as for your thread, the alt-right is not a 'bandwagon' and there's no signs of it dying on the internet whatsoever. It is rare that somebody who consider himself far right at one point change his position. Some honest pointers:
The "progressive phase" is roughly 2012-2016 i.e. Obama's second term. This was preceded by the new atheist counter culture from approx. 2004-~2012 in which many were "progressive" simply for challenging the religious right. Oddly enough Tumblr tier feminists didn't come out in 2008 as their was still a battle to be fought between moderates, social liberals and economic progressives and the religious right and economic conservatives.
