It is my duty towards the Sardinian nation to not use the It*lian flag.
Also please refrain to use swear words, this is an educational thread.

What kind of sardines do you eat?

How do you like to prepare sardines?

The tomato sauce flavoured ones.
Used to like the olive oil ones but there's just too much fat in them
I'm bad at cooking them, but I like to go to a restaurant where they cook it with lemon.

Attached: sheep.jpg (1024x683, 110K)

desu Sardinian sheep aren't very pretty, I remembered that they were trying to convince Sardinian sheeperds to use Israeli ones as they produce more milk, but that proposal didn't pick up

>I'm bad at cooking them, but I like to go to a restaurant where they cook it with lemon.
Cooked whole? Gutted? Butterflied? Filets? Open fire? Oven? Pan fry?

How can I trust you if you don't even have an Italian flag. Even with a flag you're not completely trustworthy, but without, you're not trustworthy at all.

It's gutted and open fire I think, lovely place in front of the sea, but got burned up a couple of times.

Are these sheep memes like how the bongs call the welsh sheep fuckers? Is it just a meme or do you two really dislike each other?

Are you guys often called "Sardines"?

Y u hef blind niggers as a flag

mostly a meme, like Wales Sardinia has its own language, is sort of ""backwards"" and still has a somewhat pastoral/agricultural economy

To commemorate killing muslims

Sometimes you just have to trust random people on the internet user
We have like 4 million sheep vs 1.5 million people, so the sheep rule the place. But yeah it's akin to the whole Welsh thing. I personally never had sexual encounters with ovines.
It's a Spanish Reconquista thing, Sardinia was under the Spanish crown for centuries

Why you didn' t abort this guy.

In Italy never, it's mostly a thing Yuropeans use.
Should change the Island's name to Ichnusa and claim that we are all directly descendent from Heracles.

Are Sardinians superior to the Basque?

That's a pajeet, i'm whiter than that fucker.

nymburk.worldfutnet.com/teams/basque-country/

who dat? Poor beard effort
All people are equal user, don't ask me such bigoted questions.
Interestingly the Sardinians never really engaged in terrorist acts. The Corse and Basque instead were more than obliged.

don't be a faggot, you nigger. The Basque are superior to you dindus. But yes, I do appreciate the Sardinians a lot. And I love all races. All races but niggers. Niggers aren't human.

Jokes aside, I doubt the Romans had much of a genetic impact on the Island, people tend to overestimate the impact of conquerers on local genetics. On the other hand I read somewhere that North African punics merchant brought about the malaria infestation.

>blowing up stuff and wearing weird ski masks intensifies

Itta paridi?

It really depends on who conquers and how. The Mongols did a whole lot more raping than the Romans, for instance.

I guess it's true, still though we could be speaking some cool obscure stone age language were Romans not such bullies.

Spain still had Iberian in some pockets of Iberia. Many could speak the language fluently. It was the Visigoths where Iberian got completely and totally eradicated. We've lost our Language AND religion...

It's dependent on a lot of contingenicies, for instance Romans conquered most of Britain but had a negligeble impact on the genetics of the Island. Mongols did have an impact on populations (literally wiping out entire civilizations) but didn't assimilate the conquered populations like the Romans did.

I'm having a Mandela Effect moment.

Since when the fuck was there ever an island that size in that location in the Mediterranean?

too much suntaking there, he's going to have a bad skin.

Sardinia has existed for a long time, it's probably just your memory. I forgot that you guys had Tasmania for a while.

:D he's spanish. I lied. But yeah god damn, that's one swarthy motherfucker.

Attached: sexy.jpg (720x540, 62K)

On the other hand if we went full Roman we might be the only place in the world that had Classical Latin as its main language given our isolation.

Ah that's interesting, I always thought the Visigoths were a flash in the pan

Is it true that Sardegnans are the most powerful race in the world and also the only true Europeans alongside the Basques?

Attached: 1482009464836.webm (800x450, 3M)

For millenia, It's just that we are an Island of peace and never bothered our neighbours :)

You got me, looks very Sardinian.

probably the most powerful manlets in the world at least

Attached: franco.jpg (1000x1424, 127K)

>australian education

sardinia has been here since forever, is the most ancient part of italy, we have 0 sismic activity and it has been like this for millennia already probably. our main city is older than rome

to my knowledge romans never conquered the inner part of the island. sardinian language has been influenced much more by spanish/aragonese than by latin directly

nudda.

most based flag in europe tbqh

t.sardinian

>never bothered our neighbours
False. Shardana were a pain in the ass for the Egyptians.

on average the population of the inner areas of the island has seen very little contamination from the outside. that's why the have the purest proto-european DNA in europe and plenty of centenaries

Pretty much were, i've seen some iberian here try to claim that we have german blood. But I doubt that very very heavily. I had quite a lot of Irish, Sardinian and ofc North African dna. I don't think a lot of people have german dna. I certainly don't and I'm very pale and blue eyed.

I'd love to visit Sardinia. But tbqh same for most of Italy, even the south

I reiterate my stance regarding equality among people of all nations. However it the Pinoys that are truly the most powerful race.

We are a pretty ancient people, depends on your definition of what exactly a European is.

Attached: p.txt.jpg (500x334, 40K)

mmh, classical was reserved to the very elites, perhaps though preserve an even closer version of the vulgar latin spoken likely by the retired legionaries settled in the island to teach the locals

>sardinian language has been influenced much more by spanish/aragonese than by latin directly
nah mate, Sardinian is almost completely directly derived from vulgar latin, it even has its own separate branch of Romance languages since it doesn't fit into the Ibero-Franco-Italo-Dalmatian variation
Gallurese and the variety of Sardinian spoken in the west does have its Spanish influence but not that big

I want to marry a neolithic farmer qt and contaminate her with my germanic seed.

>sardinian language has been influenced much more by spanish/aragonese than by latin directly
Only in Alghero.

most feared pirate in the pre-roman mediterranean was a sardinian. fuck the egyptians

stop being a cuck, ppl like you are the reason we are getting filled with fucking niggers and sandniggers

pls don't

your second part is false

alghero for the catalan/aragonese bullshit, but sardinian is full of spanish words. bentana, mesa, cadrega, and many others are straight out of a spanish dictionary

I think they'd be repulsed by germans coming in their camper rv's looking for brides

I think Spaniards are like Sicilians in terms of mixture of genes. The Irish bit seems surprising tho.

Sardinia is pretty nice, but you would struggle to move around the island without a car. Public transport is very unreliable.

Did the spanish mix with sardinians or something? I think that close to the majority of spaniards have some Sardinian admixture. Maybe that's why a lot of Sardinian has spanish vocab?

Yeah, Spaniards have a pretty tough history, the irish doesn't surprise me though. A lot of irish people look very swarthy close to an Iberian. I'm sure there must've been contact between the two countries

I see your point, but being the only place where latin is spoken would be pretty awesome, gives an aura of IMPERIOUS

why are you so useless? you 're Molise tier.

>your second part is false
it isn't, it's basic linguistics
some vocabulary borrowings don't make a language of another family

Attached: Screen-Shot-2014-04-11-at-9.36.17-PM.png (621x407, 15K)

Do sardinians cherish their roman past a lot? Would they, if they could, change their language from Sardinian to Latin or atleast learn it as a second language fluently?

>stop being a cuck, ppl like you are the reason we are getting filled with fucking niggers and sandniggers

Take that you are not enjoying the wave of amazing cultural diversity the island is experiencing.... you are probably jealous of all the doctors and engineers we are receiving :(

How many of you actually fit in the tin?

jokes aside, I like that Romans took the island from punic (((merchants)))

Is Italian to you closer to french or spanish? I can understand an Italian if he's speaking slowly and clearly whilst I kinda do that with a frenchie

sardinia was ruled over by iberian crowns for centuries, we have several people with spanish surnames around, so yeah obviously there was intermarring. but the close majority of spaniards having sardinian admixture seems unlikely to me, probably the other way around makes more sense

>underpopulated island

were is proofz?

lmao never most sardinians want independence and don't even feel italians let alone giving a shit about romans... but we have a lot of poverty and ignorance here for socioeconomic reasons so that's why that is

yeah to many space scientists from africa steaing my job

ah-ah

i'm probably taller than you, the short stature we have was induced by environmental reasons.

>Do sardinians cherish their roman past a lot?
Aside the language no, we don't, because the island was pretty much irrelevant to the empire.
Sardinians are a lot more attached to the Giudicati, our most popular historical figure is Eleonora D'Arborea.

I did the 23andme test and I got some Spanish dna. I would be suprised that Spaniards have that much Sardinian dna tho.

hard to say I guess since we are also native speakers of Italian tbqh

also I myself don't speak Sardinian but Gallurese, which is like a creole of Corsican and Sardinian, the former being much closer to Italian as it's derived from medieval Tuscan

>and don't even feel italians
I wonder how many know that a Sardinian wrote our national anthem.

wat

it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goffredo_Mameli
>Goffredo Mameli nacque di nobile famiglia sarda

Oh no, not a lot of sardinian. Just that I've got like 2% sardinian. And from the youtube videos i've watched it tends to be the same for a lot of people. Irish, Sardinian, Greek and North African.

Ah well ok. :(

That's just from personal experience. I've always felt a lot closer to Italians than the french

y tho??

>were is proofz?
any source on linguistic friend, look it up yourself how Sardinian is pretty much always considered a separate thing even from continental Romance languages
after all, how could it be the closest language to vulgar Latin, even more than Italian, if it was largely Spanish derived?

Attached: Quali+sono+le+lingue+figlie+del+latino.jpg (960x720, 70K)

Sardinian is technically an official language of the autonomous region but is spoken as much as you would think, there is also a huge variety in how people speak within the island itself.

Most Sardinians are pretty content with the status quo, and to be frank it's a very poor place in full decandence.

Also funny that so many think that Mameli was Genovese, but you would have an hard time finding a Mameli outside Sardinia
cognomix.it/mappe-dei-cognomi-italiani/MAMELI

>my face when

yeah same for us, the frenchies are cunts and much harder to understand

t. studied french not spanish and still understands spanish more

interesting

Attached: hype3.jpg (285x287, 10K)

Wuz you sea peoples and sheeit?

>>my face when
You didn't know? Shame on you. Have you never asked yourself why there are so many Mameli in Sardinia (I know a few), but the only relevant one was a """Genovese"""?

>You will never see Sardinia 'freeing' Corsica from the French imperialists
>You will never see Sardinia become an elective monarchy with a Judge at its helm
