Every single interview I saw with kids other than these actors (and I mean they are literally the drama club) all said multiple shooters. The blonde girl said she was WITH CRUZ WHEN THE FIRE ALARM WENT OFF.

This tells me he had little to no friends prior to the shooting. I felt similarly to this when I was younger, but found ways to restrain that negativity. One way was as basic as video games. Another was being that hateful little shit among friends that knew it was just banter and were assholes right back. The latter helped a lot more than the vidya since it turned negativity into laughter.
And even now that he's famous he still has no friends, at least not proper ones. He's surrounded himself with a group of idiots that amplify each other's selfishness and contempt for people they dont like. So with society shielding him from any and all criticism he's free to indulge on those negative emotions no matter how misplaced they are and nobody around him is telling him that he's being a little faggot.
