My experience was pretty bad. And I was the second of a single mother, my sister 3 years older. So my mom was extra protective of me after all the mistakes she felt she made with my sister, not thinking she was making a different mistake. I was never told it was sometimes okay to act on impulse, so I always over analyzed every situation growing up and still struggle with it today. I never had a GF or got in to a real fight with the dickheads I encountered at school because I was afraid of the consequences from over-thinking it.
