I have a good friend who has spent 40k and a years time fighting to get custody of his kid after his mom "sold" him to a gay couple. This gay couple makes very very good money whereas he is a blue collar worker. The legal costs have completely destroyed his life savings. Plenty of hetero couples who adopt and are unfit parents, as well as abusive. Plenty of natural nucleic families who represent the same statistic. I think a male and female is probably the best for nurturing, but you have to also be GOOD PARENTS with a GOOD MARRIAGE. I think two men or two women together don’t inherently have a significantly lower success rate as parents - it’s really case by case. The only prob I can legitimately see is a kid being bullied for it, but whatever
