According to a series of tweets and confirmation from police, there is currently an “active shooting scene” at the headquarters of YouTube in San Bruno.
San Bruno police confirm that they are responding to the incident, but other details remain unclear.
But employees at the scene are also reporting the shooting and are trying to protect themselves there. There are helicopters on the scene as well as police SWAT teams.
An active shooter is reportedly in the YouTube headquarter in San Bruno on Tuesday afternoon.
San Bruno Police Department said there is “police activity” occurring in 901 Cherry Avenue, where the Google-owned video platform is headquartered, in a tweet. When reached by this news organization, a dispatcher said there is no information currently and more will be shared on social media.
One YouTube employee tweeted from inside the headquarters saying he was barricaded inside a room until he was evacuated.
“Heard shots and saw people running while at my desk. Now barricaded inside a room with coworkers,” tweeted the employee, Vadim Lavrusik.

Okay, trying my luck for the last time in this thread
Could somebody share with me a link or two that are the best to use for redpilling a friend who believes our government is in Syria to bomb hospitals and schools?
thanks, hopefully someone posts the one with both together. I know there's a few

Those are not good enough I fear, or rather, I am afraid they might not be good enough for someone who doesn't even think we are fighting islamists there, let alone that white helmets are not a humanitarian organization
so i am asking here whether there are some proofs they are not, that can't be countered by simply saying that photos are shopped or that the evidence was planted by putin's mercenary overlords-oligarchs
You should tell him that you already had a military base in there and removing Assad will mean that some rebel shit which is nato friendly will kick you out. Also the many chechens that went in syria would then come back sponsored by usa to fuck with russia

>You should tell him that you already had a military base in there and removing Assad will mean that some rebel shit which is nato friendly will kick you out. Also the many chechens that went in syria would then come back sponsored by usa to fuck with russia We already had this conversation. He argues that getting out of Syria is beautiful since we have much more important things to spend money on (like building hospitals and shit), whereas the argument about chechens coming back doesn't hold simply because Russia can't kill everyone, and the majority of fighters would (and have) survive anyway, and would only be even more antagonized by our actions and incentivized to come back and start a civil war somewhere in Russia, which, admittedly, would have a wide popular support seeing how most muslim-majority are poor as shit
Also, I forgot to tell you but my friend is a tatar and his parents are muslim (he himself considers himself an agnostic and doesn't follow any of the rituals)

>many chechens that went in syria would then come back sponsored by usa to fuck with russia You clearly have no idea how russian libshits/commies think. In their opinion USA is the literal holy land and saviour of the world from bad evil Russia. Every weapon that kills russian is good. Everything America does is good. And so on.

you still here mate?

I don't think Russian communists like America much, you know cold war and all.
From what i've learned from talking to russians both IRL and on the web their main commie party is a mix of trotskyists and socdems and very pro-American while lesser parties are more stalinist.

Well prepare for a long read mate A bit more complicated. The TTP emerged when the Pakistan army entered the North western areas bordering Afghanistan after the 2001 invasion to kill the ETIM, IMU and Al Qaeda (The afghan Taliban were a Paki proxy to fight Northern alliance and Pakistan still supported the Taliban after the invasion albeit covertly but not these group, the Taliban had worked with these groups during the 90s but neither did they or Pakistan had any control over them) some of these returning Taliban members attacked Pakis and gathered some of the local tribes to fight due double game the Pakis were playing with the Americans and them though the the core Taliban leadership(Mullah Omar and what later became to be known as the Quetta shura) stayed loyal to Pakistan. In 2009 the military declared a ceasefire in the northern areas after retaking some areas in multiple operations and got the Afghan Taliban and Haqqani network to try to negotiate the TTP to fight Americans in Afghanistan not Pakis some of them agreed most of them did not, at that point the Afghan Taliban denied any relation to them[1].
>The Afghan Taliban have always had a close relationship with Pakistani intelligence agencies, Mr. Barrett said recently. “They don’t like the way that the Pakistan Taliban has been fighting the Pakistan government and causing a whole load of problems there,” he said. >In an interview this week, speaking on the condition of anonymity, an Afghan Taliban commander expressed sympathy for the Pakistani Taliban, but said, “There will not be any support from us.” He said the Afghan Taliban “don’t have any interest in fighting against other countries.” >“Our aim was, and is, to get the occupation forces out and not to get into a fight with a Muslim army,” the commander added. 1. nytimes.com/2009/10/23/world/asia/23taliban.html

>From what i've learned from talking to russians both IRL and on the web their main commie party is a mix of trotskyists and socdems and very pro-American while lesser parties are more stalinist. You are literally WRONG by every account.
The main commie party is extremly anti-american, while their ideology has nothing to do with either socdem or (especially) trotskyism.
They officially uphold to the marxist-lenninist values of the old USSR, but in reality they are just populist on every step, including their support for the russian ortodox church and their official refusal to reevaluate the results of privatization in case they win anything (they never will)
Ask any russian, he'd agree with my account above
And my former use of communist flags or the nostalgia (even tho i've never lived there) for the USSR absolutely do not include the support of the modern castrated communist party of russia.
well that sucks.. you can try and show him that map of nato bases and talk to him about the arab spring and whom it benefit and why in some parts the arab spring was not on US liking. How the west limits your trade and economy with bullshit you can talk about skripcal and how it's groundless and full blow lies, also point him to the latest " UK scientists unable to prove nerve agent was made in Russia".. also you can point over how US wants partition on syria with SDF.. or start with basic stuff like how the war started and ask him to explain the situation and point him out with tl;dr stuff over how even if he hates russia, what the other side is doing trying to gain ground in the area is worse and it causes death and refugees.. at least he will hate US/jews&arab friends the same as russia but since it's a libshit there is no hope though.. you can throw in rapefugees in europe if he cares more about this and how many terrorist attacks happen..

Later on it was revealed that the TTP was being aided by Afghan government and Indians[2][3] to attack Pakistan. After the operation zarb e azab in 2014 the TTP was kicked out by Paki from our north western province and actively welcomed by the Afghan govenment to be used against Pakistan. Later on the TTP members formed IS-Khorasn chapter of ISIS and now fight the Afghan Taliban and the Afghan government while other TTP member still carried cross-border raids on Pakistan territory[4].
>Not so long ago, Western officials dismissed Pakistani claims of Kabul's support for Pakistani Taliban as little more than a conspiracy theory. That changed last month after a U.S. raid captured the deputy leader of the Pakistani Taliban, Latif Mehsud, on a highway south of Kabul—traveling in an Afghan government convoy. Afghan officials acknowledged they had reached out to Mr. Mehsud as a possible intermediary in their efforts to seek peace talks with the Afghan Taliban, an explanation that some Western diplomats have found disingenuous.[2] 2. archive.li/3xcdf

>Before choosing to join ISKP, these militants operated under different brands, mainly under the umbrella of the ever-loosening Tehrik-e Taleban Pakistan (TTP). The bulk of these militants had been arriving in Nangarhar since 2010 mainly from the Orakzai, North Waziristan and Khyber tribal agencies. According to local residents, the first groups of Pakistani militants arrived in Nangarhar from Orakzai following an operation by the Pakistani army that year. They moved into Afghanistan, often with their families, apparently to flee military operations by the Pakistani army. >Hoping to use them against Pakistan, the Afghan government started to woo some of these fighters, according to influential tribal elders involved in helping relation-building from the districts that sheltered the guest militants. Tribal elders feuding against their rivals over land or power also sought to get the support of one group or another. 4. afghanistan-analysts.org/the-islamic-state-in-khorasan-how-it-began-and-where-it-stands-now-in-nangarhar/

desu, the Russians should unironically annex and expel/genocide the Balts, they're even worse than the Poles in Anglo cock slobbering
A thought came to my mind just a second ago, after looking at Houthi chicks
Are Iranian liberals the same as Russian?
Do they also hate Houthis, think Iran should withdraw from its middle-eastern satellites, the people of Bahrain and Iraq and Shias in SA should be abandoned and the US allowed to win the Middle-eastern cold war?
Hehehe. > expel/genocide the Balts Balts themselves are successful at it. Their birth/emigration rate is really amazing.

Iraq isn't the most unified country when it comes to opinions about things because depending on where you go you'd get a different response. But in Baghdad the liberals aren't the biggest fans of Iran and think they should mind their own buisness.

>CAR seeks cooperation with Russia as turmoil persists in republic The Central African Republic is seeking Russian military aid to rebuild the country’s army and tackle raging militant groups, the country’s President Faustin-Archange Touadera said in an interview aired by the Afrique Media channel. “Russian instructors training our armed forces will greatly strengthen their effectiveness in combating plunderers,” he said, adding that the Russian private sector is also seeking to invest in the country’s infrastructure and education. Just ahead of the interview airing, UN peacekeepers deployed in the country clashed with militants in the PK5 district of the capital Bangui. A UN patrol exchanged fire with unknown assailants on Saturday evening in the Muslim enclave, which is a stronghold of multiple so-called “self-defense” armed groups.
I highly doubt that those Iranian protests were natural.

UN raises over $2bn in Yemen appeal, including $1bn from govts involved in conflict The United Nations raised more than $2 billion on Tuesday to help civilians in Yemen. Half of the funds were pledged by governments taking part in the Yemeni war, AFP reports. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has described the donor conference in Geneva as a “remarkable success,” although the target for the 2018 Yemen humanitarian appeal was set at $2.96 billion. In addition to the $2 billion already committed, multiple countries have promised more donations in the coming months, leaving Guterres “optimistic that we will be able to reach the level that corresponds to the needs.” The UN says Yemen has “the world’s worst humanitarian crisis,” and three-quarters of its population – around 22 million people – need some form of aid.

So what do those liberals think should Iraq do on the international arena?
Do they think Iraqis can afford not sucking anybody's dick? Do they think you can afford to be independent?
