Ironiclly this is what I tell my friends.
Its not the big scary guns that are kiling people. Its the small easy to conceal ones that get people killed. Police are more afraid you might have a concealed handgun and might use it compared to a noticeable assault rifle that is more difficult to conceal in your waist pocket.
So how about this trade off, legalize the fully automatic large weapons but ban the small handguns. Sound fair?
