Jesus Christ. O N L Y. That is nearly a perfect split. Equality is nearly achieved there, you're very rarely going to have a 50/50 split on anything. I'm all for women in tech, everyone in tech, once it is equal. I hope I'm never chosen to be a pity hire or a quota filler, that is more insulting. If a man or woman is more qualified for the job, they should get it. How fucking hard is this for anyone to understand.

Yeah I think the point is is that they had free tickets. They aim for more women than men. I think I have stumped this guy by saying if there are less women in tech in general, then a 50/50 split of male to female CEOs would be an imbalance. And with more women going to university than men now, there are other questions at hand. Like, maybe women don't like going into tech.
At the end there after me saying that a 50/50 split of male to female CEOs is unbalanced with less women in tech, he said he can't see any reason why there can't be a 50/50 split of male to female in tech. I told him that with more women going to university now than men then there is no reason for there to be a 50/50 split, but women are getting their degrees in other subjects. He then told me it was more complicated than that, and then he had to take a conference call when I asked why.
