>US-backed forces may launch joint operations with Iraqi military along Syrian border: report BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:30 P.M.) – A high-ranking Kurdish politician stated on Wednesday that the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) may conduct joint operations with the Iraqi military along the Syrian-Iraqi border, Reuters reported.
The co-chair of the Kurdish-led Movement for a Democratic Society, Aldar Xexil, warned that operations are necessary in eastern Syria because of a potential jihadist revival near the Iraqi border-crossings.
With both the SDF and Iraqi military receiving a considerable amount of aid from the US Coalition, a potential partnership could be formed in regards to fighting the Islamic State (ISIS) forces along the border.
However, this partnership could face a major obstacle, as both the Iranian and Syrian governments do not approve of the US-forces operating in the Deir Ezzor and Al-Hasakah governorates.

>‘Irrefutable evidence’ of Syria militants planning chemical attacks – Putin BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:30 P.M.) – Russian President Vladimir Putin held a joint press conference with his Turkish and Iranian counterparts Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Hassan Rouhani, in Ankara, Wednesday, after the second trilateral summit on Syria between the Astana process guarantors.
Erdogan stated that as a result of Turkey’s ‘Olive Branch’ operation in Syria “about 400 square kilometres have been liberated from the terrorists. We have not only ensured the security of this region, we have built infrastructure in the liberated territories as well.”
“Everyone knows that Turkey has more than 3.5 million Syrian refugees. After the liberation of the territories in Jarablus and Al-Bab, over 160,000 refugees returned to the liberated territories,” the Turkish leader added.
Iranian leader Rouhani emphasised “that territorial integrity of the Syrian Republic, sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic as well as the unity of the country, its independence – as the main principles – must be respected by everyone.”
Putin on his part said the three leaders had “agreed to expand the entire complex of three-way interaction on Syria, primarily within the framework of the Astana process, which has already proved its effectiveness many times.”
“Thanks to the close cooperation of the guarantor countries – Russia, Iran and Turkey – the level of violence in Syria has been drastically reduced, ” the Russian leader added.
Fucking stoners, criminals, and all around assholes.
They are rich as fuck because of the vast swaths of weed fields they own in Baalbak. They act like they're the shit even though they haven't done a single thing to help this country, but people will still give up their own and their family's lives just for their "cause". They extremely popular, though for the life of me I do not know why.
A month or two ago, one of our politicians called one of their party leaders(Also speaker of the House) Nabih Berri a thief, which is true(Fucker is a billionaire from all the weed he sells, did I mention that he has a hotel resort in Israel?). The followers of Amal sperged for a whole week straight, setting up fires and protests.
Shamefully, they are Shi'ite, but nothing compared to Hezbollah.

Trump agrees to keep U.S. troops in Syria for undetermined period of time to defeat ISIS
"He wasn’t thrilled about it, to say the least," a senior administration official said.
WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump reluctantly agreed in a meeting with his national security team on Tuesday to keep U.S. troops in Syria for an undetermined period of time with the goal of defeating ISIS, a senior administration official said Wednesday.
The 2000 or so troops and a few bases they have in Syria do not cost more than the thousands of other US bases around the world, probably less if anything since they're smaller.
He wants to cede power to Russia so badly he's making up BS excuses.
>Erdogan vows to continue operation in Syria until Kurds leave Manbij Turkey will continue its operation in Syria until Kurdish forces leave Syria’s Manbij region, the country’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday.
“I would like to repeat that unless we ensure security in all the regions controlled by the YPG [the Kurdish People’s Protection Units] first of all, in Manbij, we will not stop,” Erdogan said at the trilateral Russia-Turkey-Iran summit on Syria.
The president noted that the three guarantor states’ leaders agreed on the necessity to preserve Syria’s territorial integrity. He mentioned that they also had worked out some steps on Syrian settlement, however, without providing details.
Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Erdogan held their second trilateral meeting on Syrian settlement in Ankara. Iran, Russia, and Turkey are the three guarantor states of the ceasefire in Syria, which has been mired in a violent civil war since 2011, and active participants of the Astana format of the Syrian reconciliation.
On March 28, the Turkish National Security Council warned that Ankara would push its operation in the northern district of Afrin further to Manbij, if the Kurdish YPG forces, supported by the United States, did not leave the region. Turkey considers YPG militia to be linked to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), listed as a terrorist organization by Ankara. almasdarnews.com/article/erdogan-vows-to-continue-operation-in-syria-until-kurds-leave-manbij/

KIKE I AM COMING FOR YOU, YOU HAVE MESSED WITH THE WRONG FUCKING MAN, YOU WILL REGRET EVER POSTING ON Jow Forums.

I think by now we are all in agreement that Assad was a terrible and incompetent dictator of Syria, and that his actions kept the country poor and dysfunctional, and his inactions led to ISIS establishing a network in Syria as he preferred that they use Syria to establish a network to funnel arms and fighters into Iraq, and his rash decision to send in the military to stop the protests is what started this war. He should step down and let someone that is capabale take charge.
What will your entrance music be? Bring a phone to play it on.

Yeah, they're both part of the March 8 Alliance(Who are kind of the good guys, as far as the definition goes) which makes them carry the same general set of political views.
Amal has offered marginal support(A few dozen militaints) during the 2006 war against Israel, but so did the Lebanese Communist Party. Only difference is that the LCP wasn't doing it to defend some weed field.
Jaxson Johnson
>terrible and incompetent Not really. There are limitations of what you can achieve with rabid shitskins instead of normal people. He did all right.
