Already posted it. Fb is bleeding money for years now their usercount is pure fiction and the platform is dying. Don't know anyone who still uses ads there. Bunch of young people I know ditched it for insta because of political echo chamber vomits. Suckerberg fucked it up by not being able to buy Snapchat. Etc.

I'd assume Facebook is more trouble than it's worth. Sure they get all your worthless personal information because you're a stupid fucking pleb that doesn't matter but it also exposes you to a constant stream of wrongthink produced by some of the badest goys like the hacker forechan.

Snapchat has it's own problems, primarily being low cash availability (they weren't able to launch spectacles) and a non-monetizing user base.
Facebooks problem is similar, but the biggest problem is Facebook has worked to stifle what was a burgeoning commerce market in 2014 on the platform, in exchange for suffocating this hoping to sell more ads. Yet, their ad targeting was pitiful, and all that happened was that people who bought ads had no ROI and the utility of facebook for commerce was knee-capped.
Looking to fix this, and desperate for a solution, facebook started data collecting even more (live mic, etc) in hopes they could hyper target consumers, while selling blocks of user data for hyper ad targeting, this 'big data scoop' strategy was used for the only thing Facebook was still good for, since people stopped going there for buying advice, and that was shaping popular opinion.
