Three children are fighting over a flute. Who would you give it to?
Child A >"I should get the flute. I'm the only one here who can play it. And after all, the point of a the flute is to make music. The other two can't play, so why should they get it?"
Child B >"I made the flute. I provided the materials for it. I spent time and effort making it. It is the fruit of my labour. How could you possibly take this from me and give it someone else?"
Child C >"Of the three of us, I am poorest. I have nothing in this world. Even though I don't play the flute and I didn't make it, you should give me the flute. Because, then, you would have improved my lot in life immeasurably."
Child B >inb4 communism no, communism would take her flute and give it to the poor fuck just for brownie points, she made the damn flute so its hers, fuck the other two.
>shoot the poor one, already a lost cause, >tell one who made it ill give them money a and materials to make many more, which I'll sell >give current flute to one who can play and let her use it to earn me money
Jaxson Powell
Child B. Child A didn't buy it therefore doesn't have the rights to it and Child C can go fuck himself.
Brandon Evans
B. The other two did not have any part in creating it, so they have no right to it. Ownership defaults to the creator. Unless they relinquished ownership of it for some reason, the only just thing is that it remain with its owner until they agree to relinquish it.
Jonathan Brown
Child A will get the flute through natural bartering. In a perfect market economy goods will flow to the actor that is most capable of exploiting them. The only scenario where Child C gets the flute is if he is allowed to beat up the girls.
B. There is no other sensible choice. C is a communist and deserves to be thrown off a helicopter whereas A can use her lunch money to buy the flute from B.
Keep it for myself as they lack the power to protect their right to own it.
Blake Davis
Child B is a misrepresentation of the capitalist class.
She extracted the materials herself by hand and made the flute herself. She did not offer Child C a fraction of the flute's value for him to craft it then sell it to Child A at a tremendous markup.
I wish people could see past Ben Shapiro and Stefan Molyneux capitalist memes for half a second and actually analyze the world around them.
Commie B doesn't have to sell anything even if A can play it. A has to buy it or have a signed contract to ownership and if not then A can take a walk. C should be beaten for acting like a beggar.
Aiden Martinez
I'm keeping that shit
Landon Johnson
Child B. but then again it's a chick, child c. it is
and if child B doesn't give a shit about some ear rape and doesn't think it's even remotely equal in value to the days he spent making it?
Thomas Hill
It's my flute now.
Liam Perry
A if you believe beauty can save the world
Wyatt Price
Again B can give to someone else. A has no right to it.
Isaiah James
This. Until proven otherwise, the best indication is that it belongs to B.
David Rodriguez
Then child b can be stuck with a useless flute. If child b doesn’t like the music of the flute, she should have made something else.
Jack Perry
People don't just play the flute this is a dumb ass analogy. Suppose child C can do something else like write music for A to play on the flute. Then A commissions works from C to play for money to pay B for the flute on the trust that A can actually play what C writes and that people are willing to pay to hear
Carter Taylor
It's B's flute, not mine.
Cooper Long
B made the flute, B decides what will happen to it.
William James
Fuck you. kek.
Cooper Cook
Does child C get the flute in any of those 4 options?
Hunter Lewis
Commie!
Nathaniel Davis
child B can learn to play the flute, but I guess making something doesnt entitle you to it huh?
Henry Jenkins
A has the right of actually being able to use it. What will B do with the flute? Will B produce flutes that no one ever uses?
Brandon Green
No because he is a poor beggar who deserves a smack for stooping so low.
Leo Davis
Anyone who says "B" is a brainlet. He "provided the materials for it"? Where? On what land? Guaranteed that the materials were never really his to begin with. If, for instance, he collected wood from the forest, it was not his wood to take without democratic approval.
B has the right to give the flute away to those who can use it if she wishes. But also has the right to retain her property if she chooses to.
Parker Scott
Child B, no brainer.

Mason Howard
Now you’re adding in people not under consideration in the original dilemma.
Adam Green
No one should get this fucking flute.
Andrew Sanchez
B, in a closed group of similar ethnic people in nationalist state , if there is a surlpus of resources you could give it for free (while paying B)to a few exceptionaly talented in flute A children to benefit the nation.
Grayson Bennett
>I made the flute Child B get's the flute, and I have no right to take it from her and give it to someone else.
but who provided the materials? who contracted / hired the girl to make the flute in the first place?
commies the whole lot of you
Noah Perry
/thread Child B created the flute, therefore it is child B's.
Jackson Moore
B can loan A the flute but the flute doesn't belong to A. If A can produce value with the flute then maybe they can pay B for it. What if I give B some compensation on A's behalf and then tell A that they have to pay me back.
Xavier Wilson
Child B, if you say C you are a commie.
Zachary Barnes
flutes are for faggots, so I give it to OP
Owen Turner
No, B doesn’t have the right to keep an object of value from being used to produce that value. However B has the right of being the recipient of the value produced by that object.
Ethan Baker
I take the flute, I remind A that asking nicely, and promising to return B's flute after playing it would have been appropriate, and put all three of them on time out for the remainder of playtime because they were fighting.
I then give it back to B at the end of class because it belongs to her, and hold C after class to find out why he felt he needed to fight over the flute even though he could not use it, or even really wanted it.
Cameron Hall
>Child B: Authority figure, do not take my flute.
>Child A: Authority figure, take Child B's flute and give it to me.
>Child C: Authority figure, take Child B's flute and give it to me.
Child B should keep the flute and should also build a gun to shoot the authority figure with.
>I can use your money better than you. >Give me your money
Oliver Hughes
That's a really esoteric merchant isn't it?
Isaac Evans
B produces flutes to sell / rent to A. I B can keep making revenue she will eventually be able to give C a job making flutes, which C will refuse because he'd rather keep begging for gibs and blame the system for being poor.
B made it, A and C can go fuck themselves. Sometimes the point of the flute isn't just for playing, the purpose of the flute for a flute builder is the use of her craft to make a living. B can sell it, donate it, or keep it and learn the play the flute on her own. She can sponsor A. B can make a mansion out of flutes and fuck her own butthole with them, NEVER using them for their intended purpose, until the day she dies if she feels like it. They aren't anybody elses to take and give to someone else.
If A wants a flute so bad and B won't give it to her, then she should make her own damn flute.
Blake Young
B made the flute B decides the fate of the flute. Sweat of your brow and all that jaz.
Eli Cruz
Based solely on the info provided, my answer stands. If your adding into the equation other means of compensation, then the consideration changes.
Ian Kelly
I forgot to mention that child c should be frown off the highest point where the helicopter can get to.
Thomas Hughes
Unless there is a contract B isn't obliged to sell or rent.
Oliver Foster
If this was money, you’d make sense.
Jeremiah Young

Michael Price
Exactly, A and C are thieves and should be shot immediately, as should all robbers found in flagrante delicto
Carter Hall
Who owned the raw materials to make the flute and was it a voluntary transaction to child B?
Brandon Cox
B created it. But as the King of these children I decree that B will share. Because otherwise this little nigger generated something it cannot use so it will likely rot away in a forgotten corner somewhere. B has the potential to learn, however, and A can barter use of the flute for lessons. C can tag along because he'll be grateful for the experience. B needs to learn what to do when they have a valuable resource. If B doesn't want to do anything with it then that's their call but I'll be disappointed with their lack of drive.
This Brit is correct, but forgot to mention that child c should then be pushed off the helicopter after refusing the job.
Brody Barnes
Is there money involved? There is no mention of money in the dilemma, only the flute. My answer was given solely considering the information provided in the dilemma.
Adrian Allen
grab the flute and break it then give each kid equal amount of shards >tard communists think like this
Landon Fisher
I worded it improperly. B produces flutes and may choose to sell / rent them to A.
Josiah Jackson
Commies are fucking joke
Gabriel Allen
if child c is poor why does he have that gay rich soy haircut
Anyway, im giving it to A because children B and C are whore sjws
Literally why the fuck would you make a flute if you cant play it and why would you grab a flute just because you're poor?
Benjamin Green
>towels in sauna the fuck you doing nigger?
Noah White
Child B. Who says she has to play it? She could sell it too.
Andrew Miller
No, the communist would run off with it saying “I represent the people therefor I the people, must have this flute!”
Justin Murphy
Then absolutely.
Aiden Miller
kys commie
Sebastian Allen
I don't understand how similarities between money earned by a person, and an object a person made cannot be drawn.
