Inlaws own property...they got sued....yard was fenced but renter opened gate and dog ran out. It ran into the street amd barked at a parent and kid walking by. The kid got scared and jumped. He fell and broke his wrist.
They sued and the inlaws rental insurance said it would not cover them as c the property owners even though the yard was fenced, the renter violated the agreement by letting the dog out of the fence (on accident) and the dog didnt even bite the kid...
The inlaws had to threaten to sue their insurance before they said.."ok we guess we will cover you". They went to court amd the judge threw it out.

Property maintenance, property taxes, laws, bylaws, freak weather causing damage, chance of fire (from retarded tenants).
The worst part is tenants. Dealing with people is a bitch. Lower income tenants are part of lower socioeconomic status for a reason. Late payments, hording shit in your property. Drug dealing, smoking, substance abuse. You have any idea how hard it is to get trouble tenants kicked out? City protects the poor, not because they need help but because they give them gibmedats. Imagine when you finally get access back to your place, the tenants' possessions and trash remain on the property. That costs money and time to get rid of all that shit, just to rent it all back out.
If you want to run a real racket, you should have gone into property flipping and selling. Being a landlord is annoying ass work.

I own 3 3 flats in chicago. all in poor dilapidated neighborhoods the goverment pays everyone of my tenants rents like clock work. I charge an average of 1400$ a month for each unit. (basements are all rented out for free to a "handyman" who handles any repairs need done to the building. im 2 years in and all ive had go wrong is a water heater breakdown and minor drywall damage due to heavy rain

Its not nothing, and it can be a disaster with the wrong property, community, or rentslaves,.. but landowners are the ultimately the ones in control throughout history, and it is great passive income that with the right property covers management fees, taxes, repairs, maintenance, ect through generations
In the US only landowners could vote iirc, wish it was that way now... regardless subsidized farm rental income through corn farming for ethanol and some other things that taxpayers cover some costs for are where the jooz do it without even seeing the property sometimes. Rental income can be great but economic swings and local changes in property value, use, and zoning, can burn those who aren't diversified in real estate and the variety of types of real estate income. Those who buy when it is at its worst can sometimes ensure their next generations financial security in just a few years.

Owning property is a huge hassle and may even be a gamble, and it will cost you your entire life if done wrong. Developing wealth takes a long fucking time, unless you have access to information others don't. Even then, nothing is written in stone, and you have to be vigilant about how your dollar is doing.

The woman claims welfare by claiming she is a single mother, meanwhile the husband is a lazy fuck with a giant beer gut and a silver tongue.
Racial profiling is a large part of choosing tenants. Never be nice, and never give chances to statistical improbabilities.
