I already do, but treating someone as an equal, doesn't mean they are. It also doesn't mean they'll treat you like that just because you do. The situation we're in is similar to a child steadily running their hand across a blade's edge. It's not a matter of if you get, it's a matter of when.
On the right, each race finds itself oh so great, and all others less than that. How arrogant one must be to assume themselves greater than several million people. A human is greater than a bear, but a bear can kill you just the same. Superiority constrains the superior, it's a self defeating notion.
On the left, they disregard differences. All are equal under the sky, but that's wrong. People are inherently individuals from birth, then grouped together by those that came before. A child may not be aware that it is black, but so long as it is conscious, it is an individual, and individuals are unequal. Instead of acknowledging problems in minority communities, the left ignores them. That's fine, except the problem won't go away just because you pretend its not there.
The right slits its own wrists with hatred, false superiority, apathetic rationalism, and contempt. The left gives the blade to a stranger in prostration, overcome with so much guilt, self-hatred, and misplaced compassion that it rejoices at the notion of death. It is so filled with lies, and hedonistic devices, that the stranger gladly slits their throat in disgust, but of course fails because the blade gets caught on the dildo.
