thanks, I'm always a little skeptical, because many "artist" just combine nude pics and burn effect and say that is xray.

Does exist standard color values to start with each pic or you just go random?

The adjustments depend on the colors of the base picture and in any clothing. In the example earlier I had to reduce the amount of blue and green in the picture to make the skin tones visible, then I had to reduce the white-to-black ratio to make the darker nipple contrast more against the lighter skin.

Sometimes with a white or black shirt you can just adjust the white-to-black ratio and ignore the other color channels, though I usually like to increase the amount of red, blue, and green to approach natural skin tone.

With a light colored shirt I need to remove colors (move the slider to the right) to increase the contrast and make things visible. With a dark colored shirt I need to go the other direction, making things lighter (but still increasing contrast either way).

In GIMP it's the "Levels..." option under the "Colors" menu.
