Yeah, but that's the thing, I can't even get myself to believe in it. Christianity seems like total bullshit to me. I actually prefer Islam, which is saying something considering that it's a pile of shit.

Judaism actually seems to be the most interesting of the three religions. I love reading the texts (Mishnah, Talmud, Zohar, etc), but again, I just find it to be, at best, nicely written bullshit, and at worst downright sinister. The god of those religions just wants total domination.

The Abrahamic god is globalist. That's not coming from the churches, that's coming from the texts. And that's incredibly strange since he only seems to exist in the middle east, compared to other pagan gods who exist in multiple cultures who have had no contact with each other.

Just for clarification, I'm only rambling because no one is here. Sometimes it just helps to see my thoughts in writing.

Concerning Islam, here in France we have made so many books about Islam and the MENA region that you will always find something interesting. Right now I'm reading Olivier Roy, it is very good.

Collins was practical which is why he was good making gorilla war (with the inside/deadly intelligence of Tom Barry who put fear into the enemy with his column) and Pearse was romantic and could inspire the men of not only 1916 but also the following years which included the two men whom I started this post about.
It gives me great pride knowing so many great men could exist on such a small island simultaneously, the chances are extraordinary and it gives me hope for the future
