I heard some shit happened with russia, what happened?
Cameron Barnes
I love how even Russians can't talk tough on Israel. If it was a US strike Lavrov would've talked about being on the brink of war and condemning the US.

You know, the last time Trump and Syria did a thing, Xi was visiting Trump. And now we have Syria again while Trump is dealing with NK and China Trade.
yes i am sure that damn people with green cards are scared of goimg to doctor because of Drumpf!
How dishonest these people can be?

F&F plus Graham calling Gassad a war criminal, the worst killer, so forth, openly calling for destroying his air force and killing him/bringing him down. Just get rid of terrorists and let the fuckers there vote for whoever they want, Jesus Christ.
Yeah, BASED JOE! We really need another Arab Spring and an ISIS 2.0. I fucking hate this armchair general.
Aiden Kelly
There were missiles fired at a Syrian base. Originally the attack was blamed on the US but the DoD said "we dindu nuffin" Turns out it was 2 Israeli F-16s firing missiles from within Lebanon that was responsible. There was also some people claiming Israeli subs surfaced near U.S. warships and fired missiles into Syria, but I think that was found to be fake, not that it isn't something Israel wouldn't do. Also there was a comfy Skyking thread that was alright.
Sebastian Bennett

Yesterday we had the gas attack and Trump said there would be consequences. Today missiles were shot (seemingly from Lebanon's airspace) into syria, causing casualties including some Iranians. Syria accuses the US of doing it, but the US denies it. Thus leading everyone to believe Israel did it since it came from lebanon airspace and they've done it before. Seems like Israel might've been trying to get us to take the heat for it. However take it with a grain of salt because our country "will neither confirm nor deny" actions all the time.
Then I would rather leave the fuckers alone, there is no middle ground.

Is it True that good governor/senate candidates even in blue states where Republicans have no chance at winning help keep House seats red? Or even in moderate states. Example. Califronia-Blue State Governor Nominee-Travis Allen from San Diego Does someone like him, being from the area, help someone like Rocky Chavez Keep David Issas seat in San Diego red? Do things like that make a difference Would Martha McSally being the Arizona Republican Senate nominee give a better chance at her district staying red? Stuff like that?
I mean, I've been worried about the House, but noticed the the Republicans actually have pretty good Senate, and Gov nominees, and wondering how much that plays into helping them with congress. I mean like Florida, Ron Desantis House seat is a swing seat, but he is likely to be the Republican gov nominee. Does that help keep it red?
>the likely hood of russia going to war with israel and possibly the USA cutting ties with israel as well? Very low, unfortunately. I don't think it's possible at this time due to a large percentage of the American public believing the "greatest ally" propaganda. I am more than happy to be wrong about this though. Israel has always done shit like this but rarely have they been called out on it, if they continue to get caught then there may be a chance of severing ties with Israel.
Brandon Jones
The article is framed in a like way to make the Syrian government look bad, but I see this proposed law as an incentive for Syrian "refugees" to return home and rebuild once the war is over.

Thanks to you idiots memeing Trump into office, now we have to explain to our children why we supported the orange lunatic causing ww3 with his Jew buddies.
Btw, SAA swept the supposed chem attack area, and there is no evidence of such an attack.
Daniel Lee
Possibly. Even I was disappointed by it. Not even a mention of how big Trump's cock was.
all it'll take right now is the MSM to pick up on this story in any way shape and form then the normies will eventually say "fuck israel in like a few years"
Even in liberal areas of the internet, like imgur, they're starting to think Assad is being framed as a bad guy when no one has any evidence if he's actually doing it even though the rebels would benefit if they did it and pinned it on assad.

The brightest and most experienced Washington think-tanks are agreeing that a military strike on Syria is required if not, obligatory. Why should I believe a bunch of uneducated farmers watching anime around here instead of them?
Perhaps. Perhaps not. Such a time limit is extremely impractical and unrealistic for hundreds of thousands, not to mention the requirements needed for many. And rhetoric such as below combined with that paints a very different picture. He later said he was addressing ISIS, which is obviously not the case when you read the full statement and watch the video. >Issam Zahreddine said army would never 'forget or forgive' those who fled >A top commander in the Syrian army has apologised after apparently warning those who had fled the country not to return, saying on state television: "If you know what is good for you, none of you return." >"To those who fled Syria to another country, I beg you don’t ever return, because even if the government forgives you, we will never forgive or forget," he said. middleeasteye.net/news/syrian-army-general-threatens-refugees-do-not-return-1410619304
>Russian stocks tumbled the most in more than two years and the ruble headed for the steepest decline among emerging-market peers after new U.S. sanctions hit Kremlin-connected billionaires and tensions with the U.S. spiraled following the latest chemical attack in Syria.
>The MOEX Russia Index slumped 3.8 percent on Monday, the steepest slide since January 2016. The ruble weakened 0.9 percent to 58.7025 against the dollar and ten-year local bonds fell, lifting the yield four basis points to 7.11 percent.
>The currency plunged and stocks sank after the U.S. on Friday escalated penalties against Russia for meddling in the 2016 election by sanctioning dozens of Russian tycoons, companies and key allies of President Vladimir Putin. U.S. President Donald Trump warned of a “big price to pay” in response to reports of a chemical attack outside Syria’s capital, saying President Vladimir Putin and Iran “are responsible for backing Animal Assad.”
>“Longer-term, this pariah status inhibits Russia’s economic potential and the possibility of real integration in the global economy,” said Julian Rimmer, a London-based emerging-markets trader at Investec Bank Plc. in London.
>President Donald Trump’s move on Friday adds to a succession of actions by the U.S. and its allies in recent weeks over the poisoning of an ex-spy in Britain. Russian markets have been under pressure because of the escalation of the standoff with the West.
Russians expect the ruble to weaken to 61/USD over the next three months and to 64/USD over the next year, according to state-run pollster VTsIOM. ... and that was before latest round of sanctions. wciom.ru/index.php?id=236&uid=116787

No it's fact that basements full of Syrian civilians died to chemical attacks. Im not sure who did it but it happened. To deny such a thing because you want to look the other way to your own oppressors is inhumane.

The Senate could potentially be changing or eliminating the filibuster rule any day this week. Maybe today. So we'll see.
They would be smart to pass another piece of major legislation.

Ah okay. I didn't read the article but sounds like more of a moral argument than an actual policy. I do agree with this General that a lot of the people who fled are traitors and unlikely to integrate back into an Assad-led government.
