Most of the professors and grad students are Chinese or Russian. Even most of of the white professors were born in Eastern Europe.
Why won’t Americans do this? It’s not a money issue. Most of my humanities professors are white or Jewish Americans. Why not science?

I don't really know, all i know is that my university offers a students to go to Berkeley for a semester and thos students don't have to pay anything extra for it. I imagine that a lot of university's in Europe do this and that the taxpayer pays for the tuition fees.

I think it is because foreigners want to stay in America. It is hard to get visa with just a masters degree. So they have to pursue phd to get long term work visas. Plus they can stay in America while they get their phd.... but I agree it is alarming that so many American colleges are Being taught by non Americans.
Because diversity is our strength. That's their reason.
Eastern Yurop puts great emphasis on science and technology education and does just as good if not better for a fraction of the cost, so those teachers are usually the best and brightest. Americans are just both lazy and stupid.
For example my shity state school which is rather unknown charges 7 grand per semester for in-state residents, charges 12 grand for out of state residents, and charges 32000 per semester for foreign students
Every year the amount of American students is slightly getting smaller but the amount of foreign students becomes larger every year
