Situations like you describe are difficult to change from within. Degenerate neighborhoods are generally already in decline by the time things like drugs and other crime are prevalent. Research your city/town codes (building, noise, safety,etc.) and point them out to your city council or local police. If you call the cops all of the time you will eventually draw attention to yourself and if you have no means to back yourself up you will become a target. Or, you could just cut your losses and move before you get culturally enriched.

One big problem (at least in the U.S.) is that homeowners submit their homes to section 8 housing under the government and degenerates move into them. The homeowner doesn't care because free money from the government, and then the whole neighborhood goes to shit as more responsible people leave and more degenerates rent homes. Changing a neighborhood ultimately takes either a wrecking ball or a lot of money.

There lies my problem. The section 8 in question is an apartment complex. I do have cameras, lights, and I open carry when I mow so they do avoid my house like a job. During the day it's not bad at all. Kids at the park, people walking dogs ect. The apartments hired "security" but that is a joke. I wish we could sue for loss of property value. The officer I talk to says that things can change sometimes, pointing to new management for the apartments, increased security there, ect. I'm going to check into the city codes for sure. If those apartments were secure, it would be a very nice place.

I don’t think that would really help. The police have made it quite obvious around here they don’t really care about the drug problem. They’d rather make money thru ticketing and traffic “violations” than do actual police work. The police in my town make 3x the amount of money that is given to them by the state through traffic ticketing alone. They’re not going to get involved in drug enforcement if they’re making a killing ticketing everyone

Yeah, in my town the problem is that police work has become politicized. They avoid showing up and so can claim "the crime rate declining." Also there's racial quotas that impede them from arresting certain protected groups. So merely drawing attention to the problem doesn't help, it can even backfire in that you're identified as the problem.

Same here. They'll have lines of cruisers with 2 officers behind the radar just waiting. The guy that broke into my house has been convicted 5 times. So a public adjustment needs to me made. To the court and officers.
