Is the planet entering a state of global cooling and we just don't hear about it because of the global warming narrative?
I know in many parts of the planet last year and the year before had FAR colder average temps than normal, approaching 20F (!!!) off average, this is an EXTREME temp deviation, yet you can find NO news on this.

What you're experiencing is the disruption of global weather patterns. Global warming doesn't mean everywhere gets warmer, it merely means the average temperature of the entire planet increases, even if it decreases in some places.
I don't recall the exact reason for Clapistan's coldness but I believe it has something to do with cold air from the north pole blowing southwards in a manner it hasn't before. Changing global air currents or somesuch.
Global weather patterns are changing because of our planet's weakening magnetosphere and reduced solar activity which in turn mean our jet streams are behaving unusually.
Less solar activity means increased glactic cosmic rays which in turn leads to increased cloud cover which in turn leads to much larger precipitation events, whether it be snow or rain, see svensmarks cloud mystery regarding this
Increaseddcloud cover also increases the albedo effect and cools the planet.
