Why are most ""conservatives"" not environmentalists?

The only reason conservatives support oil is because they're bought and paid for in the form of campaign donations.

Are they real jobs or jobs that are funded by government grants. Ask yourself that.

I consider myself a conservationist rather than an environmentalist. Its important that we maintain national parks and forrests so that we can have wildlife and untouched wilderness for future generations to enjoy.

I dont however believe that carbon is a pollutant and is a big threat to the planet. All the trash and plastic we throw in the oceans? Im against that and would support government innitiatives to stop that stuff.

Sometimes I think global warming was just engineered to take the heat off of the actual pollutants like plastics and industrial waste. The oil companies know oil as a fuel will eventually be replaced anyway, so they keep you focused on the carbon dioxide in the air instead of the trash in the ocean.

The fact is the left has a monopoly on caring about the environment, at least in the eyes of the public.

Well, to be honest, the oil companies pay a much higher percentage of what the get subsidized back in taxes, resulting in a net gain from the industry. Clean energy is just a money pit.

The absolute worst kind of 'conservative' I know are those that not only do not care for the environment, but that deliberately go out of their way to harm it just to spite people on the left that perhaps care too much and get too emotionally invested in it. The kind of untermensch that throws plastic trash out their car windows and select cars based on how much smog they can put out. Fuck Global Warming, living in exhaust pits gives you cancer and shit lungs.

MANY conservatives are in fact, conservationists who have a desire and vested interest in preserving the environment.

You just don't see them as such. Sports fisherman and hunters are big into range and wildlife management and the preservation of species.

Industrialists like jewish neocons don't care, but your average Republican DOES. The problem is that Democrats don't actually care, either. Carbon credits don't solve shit. They're a racket.

That's because your average environmentalist wants to revert society back to a pre industrial state. Anytime someone wants to install a clean energy facility they come out of the woodwork and do everything they can both legal and illegal to sabotage the efforts because it "disrupts the natural environment". Then they demand that we give up polluting fossil fuels with no feasable means of replacing it. They don't care about the consequences of those actions or the millions who would die if we did. They only care about some obscure variety of bird or worm that is only slightly different from all the others in the area.

Because only NatSocs have the correct answer to the world's ecological problem: wiping out a huge portion of humanity. Sure it's not going to be nice, but it's the only no-bullshit method that can work. Solar and wind are fucking jokes and only for buying a ''feel good'', not for real results.
