Trump has to put on airs sometimes, like when he talked about treating DACA kids "with heart" while doing nothing to save them from deportation. Hitting that airfield defused the war hawks without doing any damage to Assad. It was a smart move, and the fact that he's been calling for a withdrawal shows that he never believed the false flag in the first place.
