it's a hard choice between keeping ideas pure at the expense of influential allies. but i can see the case for either side. it may be a slippery slope once you start conceding some points to gain favor with others. but the alt-right have been more effective at mainstreaming ethno centric ideas than people shouting nigger and 1488 at rallies.

we need both, the extremists give people deep in the movement somewhere further to go, and the moderates give the normies someone "reasonable" to approach

As for infighting, if we are really fans of hierarchy then we must be willing to allow infighting, that's the only way to allow the most deserving to take their place in the hierarchy, millennial woes and other anti infighters have gained popularity and are now kicking the ladder out from under them so their higher positions are safe.

We need infighting without purity spiralling, this allows the best distribution of the hierarchy.

yes but disingenuous backstabbing will only do us harm. we do need those on one side who keep the ideas pure/in check (they will be less popular for now) and we need those to bridge the gap between milquetoast conservatism/liberalism and bring them to our side. both have their uses.

as for hierarchy. this matters more in the organisation of power once we hold it. do political pundits or culture influencers need to be hierarchal? seems a bit silly unless they have real word power to exert.

a disingenuous backstabber would hopefully do more damage to their own image then the back-stabbed, underhanded tactics have their place, but in general, I agree, underhanded tactics are rarely a good look too people within the movement or looking in from outside
