I had an interesting conversation at work today, coworker said that Texas is not the south, it is it's own thing and it is better or at least people from there claim it to be better. I'm Texan and I never thought about it but i kind of agree, Texas doesn't feel like the rest of the south, and people from Texas are proud and do believe Texas is better, and it is. It seems Texans are proud of who they are even though the plenty of lib fags shit all over Texas. What are your thoughts on Texas?

Texas is a mix, it was founded by different groups. It is mostly Southern. It was mostly settled by Southerners who came before Independence from Mexico or Southerners who moved to Texas after the Civil War. There is also an element of other Europeans that came for their countries to Texas, and then some Midwesterners and Northerners. All in all, it is mostly Southern in my opinion, but ultimately, it really depends on your family and/or area.

Texas is a shithole infested with rednecks and beaners. The only Southern State that isn't actually culturally Southern for the most part is Florida as the vast majority of Florida is culturally non-Southern (with the exception of the Northern region).
You could say the same thing about Northern Virginia (i.e. the area of Virginia right outside of Washington D.C.) which is basically an extension of D.C. and the Northeast in general and is culturally non-Southern.
As for Texas? Texas is geographically located in the South and is culturally Southern too. There is no region of Texas that isn't culturally Southern. State is a total cesspit too.
