I am sure Russia will retaliate. Russia will not stand by and let America, the UK and France bluntly violate international law once again. I believe Russia will retaliate by using anti-ship missiles to sink American and British warships which launched the strikes.
And what will Trump and May do? More sanctions on Russia? Fine. That's it then. But the world will have seen that Russia can retaliate against Western powers and there won't be nuclear war.
they will do dogshit besides trying to shot down all the missiles and lie about the ones they couldn't shot down in time.
Samuel Bell
Nothing will happen. Russia is a plastic tiger.
Gabriel Reed
UK has already backed out nothing is going to happen
Nathan Jones
nothing will happen nor is anything allowed to happen we're in a permanent state of nothing burger I guarantee it will just be sanctions against Russia
Zachary Sanchez
I don't think war will escalate. Russia knows America is going down in a decade, so it's a waiting game at this point.
You can't keep an empire on consumerism and military action. Eventually, it will run out of resources and places to expand
"Russia will not stand by and let America, the UK and France bluntly violate international law once again."
The Ukraine is calling for you Hans they'd like to have a word with you about Russia and international law.
Jace Baker
>they will do dogshit besides trying to shot down all the missiles That is what the Trumpists think. But an attack on Syria without even any UN resolutions to even remotely authorize such an attack is such a blunt violation of international war, I can't see how Russia, which is stationed in Syria, cannot retaliate. Russia would be a complete laughing stock of the world, if it doesn't do what they are allowed to do under international law - retaliate against the attackers AND go to the UN general assembly and ask to condemn the blunt violation of law.
Mason Ross
How was Ukraine a violation of international law? Read up on it, it was not. The Crimean people had an independence referendum, which is allowed under international law - after they voted to secede from Crimea, they joined Russia.
As to Eastern Ukraine, no Russian troops violate Ukrainian borders. There is no evidence Ukraine or the Western powers ever published which shows that Russia directly or indirectly supports the Eastern Ukrainian rebels which fight for freedom from Kiev rule.
Anthony Wright
>roman empire much except for the invasions of the actual empire, so america had an edge, not being near its enemy.
Pretty much this. Russia won't even remotely risk to directly confront USA. All parties in this conflict (without a single exception) benefit from it and USA and Russia perhaps want to make each other know their place but had they want a direct war they'd start it. US shall choose targets wisely to prevent Russians die and even if some r dead Putin won't escalate. In the very worst case Russia will target pro-american groups in north Syria.
Direct war implies risks no side wants to take since possibility of mutual destruction, ruling classes of both Russia and the west ain't ready for this and there's no motivation for them
Charles Fisher
>retaliate against the attackers
and then what? giving the US and its allies a free pass to remove Russian troops from the ME and getting sanctioned into the stone age?
the US probably knows about the retaliations capabilities of the russians down there and probably has taken precautionary measures.
Joseph Bell
Roman, French, Spanish, British, Dutch, Ottomans and pretty much any other empire "much"
David Turner
>and lie about the ones they couldn't shot down in time That's not happening this time, they're waiting for it with two S-400 systems set up between Aleppo and the Med, world class air-defence.
Jace Bailey
>giving the US and its allies a free pass to remove Russian troops from the ME
The US doesn't have the capacity to do shit against Russian troops in Syria.
>and getting sanctioned into the stone age? There is little trade between Russia and the US, and sanctions are already in place. There is not that much more the US can do.
>and probably has taken precautionary measures. What measures can you take against modern anti-ship missiles? Nothing. You can just hope you can shoot all anti-ship missiles sent your way down before they hit. But modern anti-ship missiles are fucking hard to shoot down.
Asher Clark
>And what will Trump and May do? Launch strikes against Russian targets in Syria and the Ukraine.
>they will do dogshit besides trying to shot down all the missiles and lie about the ones they couldn't shot down in time.
No they'll retaliate, they have to. Trump leaves them no choice.
Jack Gonzalez
>Launch strikes against Russian targets in Syria and the Ukraine.
There are no Russian targets in Ukraine.
Couldnt Russia wipe out some US bases in eastern Europe in response?
Grayson Edwards
>That's not happening this time, they're waiting for it with two S-400 systems set up between Aleppo and the Med, world class air-defence.
more imnportantly they have AWACS cover 24/7 now. they will see the missiles a long way away.
Luis Ward
Considering the Royal aren't sending any ships there then there won't be any UK losses..
Daniel Kelly
>Launch strikes against Russian targets in Syria and the Ukraine. Yeah sure, dream on, Jose. Your F-35 and F-22 have a very, very limited strike radius. And there are no Russian targets in Ukraine - except if you mean Crimea which is in Russia.
The moment a US plane enters Russian airspace over Russian land or sea, it gets fucked up. No matter how much meme stealth capacity it has. Not to mention how insane it would be for America and the UK to actually go to real war with Russia as in A REAL WAR.
Julian Campbell
They could try, but their inferior slavtech would just be shot down.
Not it doesnt. the PPP index is the one to be looking at.
Leo Evans
I really cant wait to see America get its shit pushed in.
I hate them so much.
Ryan Roberts
>we arent May said you will be on Trump's side when he launches his missiles. Are you saying this is just "moral support"??
My guess is UK submarines are in the Med already entering the firing solution for their ballistic missiles right now.
Bentley Lee
>he doesn’t know the S-500s are already developed, produced and deployed
Angel Edwards
I actually hope US gets btfo here. It is evidently the only fucking way they will ever learn to be rational. I still consider myself American, but this government we have is satanic and insane and in no way represents me and I no longer recognize it. I'd seriously much rather be ruled by Putin at this point. I say this as a Veteran. Anyone still serving this fucking military is just dying for Israel, gaslighting psychopaths, and so some Boomer-ass generals won't feel bad about "losing to Assad".
Bentley Fisher
>May said you will be on Trump's side when he launches his missiles. Are you saying this is just "moral support"??
Yes, we're not stupid enough to attack Russia hopefully.
Anthony Roberts
oh, the same Russia that >shat it's pants when Erdo shot it's MiG down and responded with a sternly worded letter? >did nothing at all when it's fucking embassador was killed by a Turk government worker? >didn't even worded a letter when it's base in Syria was bombed by a ((pint-sized country)) oh well, you're as dilusional like the rest of /sg/ mullahs
>My guess is UK submarines are in the Med already entering the firing solution for their ballistic missiles right now.
i dont know if we reallhy have any working ones.
Lucas Brooks
>Us and the UK can handle Putin, no sweat. No, you cannot. There is something called "nukes". If you truly start attacking Russia in their homeland, this shit is going to get freaking hot real soon. Russia would retaliate by bombing and missile targeting American military bases which are located all within striking range around Russia. And if America then launches nukes, Russia will launch nukes back. It is going to be fun. I hope Russia doesn't launch any nukes towards Europe (basically, that Russia conveniently forgets about Europe).
Jason Thompson
cant russia and usa just start nuking each-other? if China would be dragged in it somehow that wouldnt be bad too. superpower genocide best day of my life
Connor Roberts
watch and learn. this time they must and will respond.
Joseph Ramirez
Maybe if Putin saves up he can someday be as affluent as Italy or Brazil lmao
Russia isn't going to do anything. But I fucking wish we weren't about to start another war. I'm sick of war. I'm sick of was for Israel.
Matthew Sullivan
What was Putin supposed to do with Turkey? Strike Istanbul?
It was some random shot down of a MiG which may or may not have overflown Turkish territory. Ambassadors are being killed right, left and center all the time. It is nothing big really.
But an announced massive missile strike on Syrian and/or even Russian troops in blunt violation of international law? That is a completely different ballpark - especially as Russia said it will a. try to shoot down the missiles and b. retaliate against the launch sites / ships that launched the missiles.
Colton Martinez
>Maybe if Putin saves up he can someday be as affluent as Italy or Brazil lmao
Russia is currently the 6th largest economy on the PP index. China is number one.
Jaxson Reed
Fuck you cunt, I hate when british try to act like our two countries are on opposite ends of the geopolitical spectrum and you din do nuffin
Ian Reyes
>Russia isn't going to do anything.
they clearly are. they have announced it. your move.
Chase Morris
you do realize your claim is void of any resemblance of rationale, right?
Jack Gonzalez
russia is a major factor but they can not risk open war. Better have backup in the form of china. Then go. Otherwise, they can only be defensive.
Adrian Ward
>you do realize your claim is void of any resemblance of rationale, right?
its entirely rational you filthy kike, based on their express statements.
Gavin Sullivan
>russia is a major factor but they can not risk open war.
they will, they have no choice.
William Morris
I know what they said. But it's just saber rattling. Watch, they won't. They'll probably be more willing to come to the table.
Asher Hughes
they're in the red after Crimea, they can take this hit to their dignity like we did ours
Chase Wood
>Otherwise, they can only be defensive.
thats what they will be doing. they wont attack first.
Kevin Rogers
>Russia isn't going to do anything. That's the American spirit. "Nothing is going to happen, lads, seriously!"
Do you know how often I heard this from Americans before something bad happened? Before every bubble burst in the market, Americans were saying "nothing will happen". Before any military invasion Americans said "oh, it's going to be soooo freaking easy", before anything really ever Americans have been naive and not known about the consequences.
Nope. You've got it way wrong. Russia is making its last stand. It won't cede Syria to the West, because if it falls then US will just keep rolling everything else and block off Russia from the rest of the world. No one really expected Russia to set up camp in Syria in the first place. They are in for a rude awakening if they don't think Russia won't put everything on the line to hold Syria against any direct action from Western powers. And the propaganda shills thinking that US somehow totally outclasses Russia militarily are fucking morons. When the missiles run out, Russia will throw its ENTIRE POPULATION at the west, and the remaining fat ass Americans will be too busy eating each other to defend themselves. America could have allied with Russia and split up China/Korea, but now Russia/China/Turkey/Iran/Syria/South America will devour the west. You played the wrong cards in the wrong game faggots.
What about when this happened a year ago and nothing happened, retard?
Jose Nelson
>I know what they said. But it's just saber rattling. Watch, they won't. They'll probably be more willing to come to the table.
what the fuck are you talking about. you launch an attack, they will respond. it couldnt be more clear.
Cameron Jones
>Us and the UK can handle Putin, no sweat.
It absolutely baffles me how some retards still cannot grasp the concept of nuclear war.
Caleb Parker
What are you talking about? You think Russia wants to strike back after all the posturing from the UK and EU? All corrupt governments on Earth are dying to fight Russia so they don't have to solve domestic problems. Russia just want Syria left alone so they can continue their economic plans. They don't want to fire anything at the USA, ever. NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN STUPID KRAUT FAGGOT.
Colton Myers
>What about when this happened a year ago and nothing happened, retard?
they didnt have 24/7 AWACS then and they hadnt announced they would attack US ships and planes attacking Syrian forces.
Angel Butler
>They don't want to fire anything at the USA, ever. NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN STUPID KRAUT FAGGOT.
you fire at Syria, they fire at you. what dont you understand about what they said.
Jose Kelly
I don't want to go bombing another country. But let's be realistic, Russia can't do anything. Nukes aren't going to fly and like I said, I can see this actually bringing Russia to the table. Hell, I don't know. This is just my sense of things.
Nolan Rogers
Watch, they won't.
Aaron Lee
I suppose it's time then. Russia is enough of a shithole that I like our odds of glassing them before they can do too much damage. I guess we may as well nuke China too while we're at it.
>getting sanctioned into the stone age? sanctions are irrelevant for war with Russia. Russia doesn't have food problems like Soviet Union did in the 70s/80s. And Russia has vast expanses of natural resources. It only needed trade with the rest of the world to acquire fancy cars and smelly deoderants.
Jason Morris
The only thing that will happen is Germany will take 5 million more rapefugees and our country will stop existing after that. Millions of people will get forced out of their government apartments again and die on the street, and once again it will be ignored just because they've Germans in poverty. Our country will be hopelessly fucked up and unlivable, but the rest of the world will be laughing at us as usual and they'll be just fine.
Joseph Nguyen
>I don't want to go bombing another country. But let's be realistic, Russia can't do anything.
er, shoot down your missiles and planes and sink your ships?
Nolan Hill
>and they hadnt announced they would attack US ships and planes attacking Syrian forces. Which is why it doesnt make sense for Trump to trumpet about 'get ready, missiles are coming'
Christopher Collins
>exaggerate until complete strawman and make fun of an argument not being made at the very very least he could have bombed Turk's AA that fired the missiles, some front positions, give some support to the K*rds, and some trade embargo to go with it but Russia is fragile economically and weaker than it boasts to be militarily. so they did NOTHING if you think Russia will actively engage US aerial vehicles, you haven't been following anything but your sub saharan IQ /sg/ bubble
waiting for you cowards to attack, which you wont dare to now.
all mouth.
Angel Diaz
>No one really expected Russia to set up camp in Syria in the first place.
Yeah... no one could have guessed the Soviet Union signed a cooperation agreement with Syria in 1946 and had a naval base and army bases there since the 1970s.
>Which is why it doesnt make sense for Trump to trumpet about 'get ready, missiles are coming'
nevertheless he said it.
Henry Robinson
>our country will stop existing after that. it stopped existing 45.
Wyatt Ortiz
You're a fucking moron. One second you say "oh conventional Russian weapons can sink some US and Brit ships, no worries it's fine" then the next second you say the UK and USA can't handle Putin, because any aggression against him would be met with nuclear war. You poor Muslim scum.
Logan Morgan
America is being mexified, eventually this will decimate their power as internal disorder increase
Julian Wilson
Get a grip. There's likely already back channel talks going on. Now if we bomb actual Russians there may be some shit go down, but that's not going to happen. They've talked already.
Gabriel Jackson
>if you think Russia will actively engage US aerial vehicles,
theyve said they will and i believe them. theyve taken enough shit from the US.
Nolan Bailey
Russia is a paper tiger, Israel already hit Syria and there was no retaliation.
Benjamin Clark
>santions? SWIFT, embargo, freezing accounts.
Owen Howard
>Get a grip. There's likely already back channel talks going on.
i dont give a fuck. what matters is youre too cowardly to attack though you threaten it.
Jose Wright
Look, it's that Russian cunt who lives in Germany! Fuck off, you know nothing and your shit is about to be compacted in Syria. Modern anti-ship missiles. LOL. You don't have enough fielded close by to get through all the ECM, interceptors, PPD and yes, even a few lasers now.
And once a few more ships show up? Even the entire Russian Air Force and their entire complement of AAA assets won't be enough (and would be wasted). Popcorn is being made, Ivan Germanicuckov.
Isaac Young
I don't want to attack. I don't want any part of this bullshit. But chill the fuck out, we aren't going to war with Russia.
Alexander Price
people have been saying that about us for 100 years
Joshua Sanchez
>SWIFT, embargo, freezing accounts.
the US doesnt control swift.
Henry Nelson
>being this stupid
Dylan Thomas
>I don't want to attack. I don't want any part of this bullshit. But chill the fuck out, we aren't going to war with Russia.
looks like you are since your piece of shit leader says so.
Leo Ross
I'm too cowardly? Implying I want to go to war. Trump will hit Syria, probably very hard.
Evan Long
My point is the only place where the world is ending is here. Everyone else is just laughing at us. There won't be any WW3. This is all just bullshit.
Cooper Hill
>>being this stupid
bring it on you piece of shit. oh wait, youre scared.
Robert Harris
Yeah, looks like it. Looks like your piece of shit leader is joining the fun.
Justin Bell
>I'm too cowardly? Implying I want to go to war. Trump will hit Syria, probably very hard.
America is cowardly. they wont do shit.
Colton Morgan
>Russia can't do anything I have no doubt Russia will not just try to shoot down your missiles, they will send their own missiles against your launch sites. If they do not, they will never again be taken seriously by anyone. America would be 100% acting openly against international law in attacking a sovereign nation without being attacked first or having a UN resolution. Russia, as ally of Syria, would be 100% in its right under international law to send missiles against the attackers. In any court or in the UN general assembly and even in the UN security counsel, this would look extremely good for Russia and pretty bad for America.
Juan Stewart
You're joking, right? Please Hans tell me you're joking. God, You lads are long gone.
Anthony Brown
so you believe everything any non-consequential official with zero insider knowledge in Russia says after a night of Vodka binging with his babushka?
