China will not remain neutral. They will join Russia. Their minister of defense recently visited Moscow to pledge Chinese military support to Russia against the US if necessary. I imagine that they will also try to swallow parts of southern asia and the south pacific.

Austria isn't in NATO, Other than that, absolutely agreed. Let's be real; NATO is basically just the USA with a few former-great-powers like france/britain/germany throwing token hats in the ring out of pride of days long past. That and the butthurt belt countries across eastern europe, but their participation in NATO is of receiving aid, not giving it. None of them would want to do anything unless they themselves were attacked.

Iraq is not USA aligned. They're aligned with Iran.
Afghanistan is USA aligned, not because the people are but because it's effectively been used as a giant military outpostbordering iran/russia

Despite our President recently sucking Putin's and Jinping's dick, it would be a bad move to join the war since we have our own problems ro deal with.

Red: China, who maintain trade relations with any major power that will have them up until shit starts getting real between the US and Russia
Orange: countries China annexes, attempts to annex or plans to annex the moment the US and Russia are focused on each other, sufficient forces for occupation allowing. Probably any that share a border with Russia will be split based on the % of ethnic Russians to appease Putin

They may/may not leave Japan and South Korea alone, they wouldn't leave India alone if they thought they could take it without abandoning taking control of the pacific and through that a fuckton of major shipping lanes.

At some point the USA may stop dancing around Russia and building up in central Europe and Israel to focus on China, at that point Russia will immediately rush into the middle east and seize a fuckton of oil. This is probably the stage where a nuclear exchange is most likely to happen.
