Why are children forced to go to school when very few of them will remember the material they are taught and most of what they remember won't be applicable in real life?

I guess everyone on here is redpilled enough to understand this

I'd force her onto my penis, if you know what I mean.

I miss school where you were forced to hang out with other kids
now I'm in college and I have 0 friends

Like reading, writing and simple math?

Nothing I learned at school was useless or forgotten.

>finland
I heard you guys have exceptionally good school system

Its useful for socialization if nothing else

School is mostly babysitting

Sure you don't remember a lot from school, but the constant 5 days a week and 8 hours a day of brain stimulation will help you in the long run.

Socialization occurs outside of school. And you're not just interacting with people your own age as in school.

The rest of society is paying through their nose for this "babysitting". Not to mention its a huge loss in the quality of life of children.

In what way does it help?

Attached: Beaver on Education.png (1896x1096, 995K)

id say you need school only up to sixth grade.

underage b&
is this you?
youtube.com/watch?v=TQ_dTQ8Pnmc

I don't know about that.

It was just school, teachers teach and the few students who pay attention, learn.

Make all schools private, encourage trade and life skills, reduce the number of grades. (after all what the hell is the difference between 4-5 grade education wise.
Oh and end homework. It is a mess that teachers use as an excuse to slack off and overburdens the child making the hate education as a whole.

Are you one of these?

And punish disruptive students like we used to, their parents cause shit call them out on it.

same
Except that I don't miss school
And I didn't have any friend not even back then

slaves need to be trained and conditioned

>avg of 2k per student/year paying through the nose
no

one of life's most important skills desu

arguable, as student should mostly be taught math and language
plus they could start college education sooner

Why shouldn't students be disruptive when they're being held in school against their will for eight hours a day, five days a week?

or just start going in 6th grade

pop quiz: d/dx(2x^2/4+8)=

According to this, state spending per pupil was $10,700 on average. New York per pupil spending was almost 20k.

>one of life's most important skills desu

So why do you want to imprison children with their age peers instead of letting them socialize with all sorts of people out in the real world?

Because we - as a society - need to pluck out the weeds. If you are too stupid to learn the basics you are too stupid to live and need to be hanged.

Study hard and do your homework slagget

I did. I graduated from college summa cum laude. Most of what I learned isn't applicable in the real world.

What did you major in and what do you do now

Economics. I'm an accountant.

Because eventually they will be able to vote?

I would assume understanding math is kind of important in your field.

Obedience to the (((state))) and legal brainwashing. They get you in the rhythm of "im going to follow these instructions because i've been told to do so" and showing the country's pseudo history down your throat.

Did they teach your meme flag mutt self what irony is?

Attached: kYSv5U5.gif (420x315, 1.91M)

they didnt teach this in my high school, first year of college really kicked my ass

Not really.

Damn I'd hit that.

So you're saying you don't need to know math to be an accountant?

Relatively few jobs require an understanding of even basic differential calculus. You would have been fine if you decided to not study calculus at all.

In what situations would an accountant need to know math beyond arithmetics and maybe how to solve linear equations?

>Why are children forced to go to school when very few of them will remember the material they are taught and most of what they remember won't be applicable in real life?
easy answer. look at germistan. forced public schooling, le diversity indoctrination, fast forward a generation and boom you conquered that land.
easy jewry. the state is the ultimate tool of mind control.

go to church

Right but you learned how to do those things in school. But don't you work with exponential functions for loan interest calculations, etc? I remember doing that in school and having specific applications in finance. i.e. calculating the total cost of a mortgage given the principal, loan term and interest rate.

I want to have sexual intercourse with her, you know what I'm saying?

and that is supposed to help me how exactly
I go every Sunday
I'm not even a believer It's just a custom in my family

Yes, I probably should have mentioned exponential functions too. Altogether, accountants don't need to know very much math. All of the necessary math can be learned within days. I don't see why that much math can't be learned at the workplace or even during leisure on your own.

You sgould probably buy her a be to box... She will practically have to sex you after that.

indoctrination and appearances. You have to send your kids to school to learn nothing of value 7 hours of the day so you can go work and when they turn 18 talk them into college so they can rack up idiotic amounts of debt for a job that wont be there for them when they graduate so they have to take up being a waitress/stripper/mcdonalds employee to not drown under the financial burden they placed on themselves. Hey they learned how to do algebra though so that's something.

To have (((culture))) and (((governance))) ingrained in their minds so they don't rock the boat. Youngsters rebel and create their own society if they aren't taking after Hollywood role models (the most powerful people they are aware of) and there are no Jews whispering in their ears.

I wish I was Japanese bullet train if you know what I mean

You're right. But when considering hiring somebody, I think employers just see a degree as a stamp that says "not an absolute brainlet", which is a good thing no matter what you do. Unless you just pick avocados or something, which is totally different.

school should be completely optional, that way it would be way easier to permanently enslave the ancapfags

we could breed them to become more servile over time, effectively creating a disposable slave race to use for simple manual labor and as lab rats

Bloated numbers, probably funds secretly allocated to yeshivas, there's only one teacher for every thirty students where I am, so when I hear, x amount is being spent per student I am skeptical, if that were even remotely true every classroom would have three or more teachers, especially if students move around scheduled periods on campus. 10,000 per student? Other than the grounds themselves, grounds maintenance and immediate supplies does anyone actually believe this much money is being spent on students and not just thrown into a money laundering scheme managed by some kike company publishing textbooks at 10-30x their actual value.

Churches are objectively the best places to make friends and have healthy social interactions. Start getting involved on their events, charity work and bible studies. It'll satisfy 100% your need for friends.

School is to socialize children in the earlier days, thus they barely learn anything. Then later in life at 14-17 around there they learn actual stuff they will remember.
They also give you good grades even if you're dumb early in school.

Some of them will though, if it weren't enforced some people that might have used that knowledge and become useful would instead be a slacker. I guess it's too much of a loss for society to lose these potentially great people so they force everyone to go.

Im highschool we had a teaching who taught something called like societies and she told us that all cultures were equal.

Never believed her but always remembered this

Attached: 1522543637530.png (500x560, 135K)

It doesn't though. The church I went to had people my age but we had nothing in common and they were really boring and 1-dimensional.

A lot of that money is in construction debt because kids need the fanciest fucking school to learn

The main benifits of schooll
>socializing
>math
>language
>society

but the downside are the retarded teachers who will spread their bullshit to their students. i had a teacher who would give us a poem about niggers.

here is the poem

And you calling me colored??
When I born, I black.
When I grow up, I black.
When I go in sun, I black.
When I scared, I black.
When I sick, I black.
And when I die, I still black.
And you white people.
When you born, you pink.
When you grow up, you white.
When you go in sun, you red.
When you cold, you blue.
When you scared, you yellow.
When you sick, you green
And when you die, you grey…
And you calling me colored??

she was a obnoxious hag

so you have a basic knowledge background to navigate life

Also by high school you should have enough freedom to choose courses based on what you want to do with life. I took advanced physics and math courses to prepare me for university

I'd say social cohesion is undermined by public schools though, sure you are bombarded with tons of people to talk to, but how many of the relationships are actually important? Social bonds used to be formed through actual struggles and long term exposure to others in your local community, nowadays after high school everyone just sort of leaves, they they grew up to move onto better things, you will have 1-3 lifelong friends if you are lucky after that, combine that with the saturation of being around so many people most everybody is just an acquaintance and conforms to the lifestyle of whatever groups were most popular at the time. After that you to college or if you just work you have to kiss strangers asses just to get a job. These disconnections create the apathy we have, while kikes and shabbos goyim tell you that the most important thing is your gdp and that social conformity is good so that you get along with other strangers (cheap labor) and don't get any ideas to overthrow your masters. The entire thing is self policing, our government is little more than a bloated HR department these days.

People aren't forced to go to school for the content and knowledge. They are forced to go to school to learn obedience and how to be a follow a boss. To prove that you're capable of being part of the system, not against it. Ever wonder why the same material is repeatedly taught year after year from elementary to high school? Then you're forced to relearn everything you learned again in college?

You ever wonder why practical and trade skills are being phased out in favor of content memorization and logic application? It's key to pushing students to lose common sense trade skills inherently teach because that indoctrinates them to delve deeper into 'higher education' allowing bankers to fund student loans for those who get accepted into for profit institutions.

Fuck off retard
School is good

Attached: palpatine.jpg (1536x653, 173K)

neck yourself retarded namefag

It sucks when you get attached to lifelong friends and they all grow up and leave. I went to church for 20 some years and was around 2 of my closest friends for that time. The place is in a sad state now, went about 8 or 9 times and it's really shit when there is this huge age gap between you and the people going to church-everyone is either too old or too young to relate to and the people you were used to being around are gone.

This. The most important part about school is that it is a hierarchic system that teaches obediance. You have to be on time to class, you have to obey the teachers, you have to shut up and do what they tell you to, you don't have a choice. The teachers themselves take orders from above.

The specifics that the children are taught in school are not so important. Grades are not so important to getting a real, practical job. The important factor is to instill obediance. Why the school system was instituted? The state of Prussia invented it, the purpose was to mold its citizens into soldiers, after the flintlock musket was invented and mass produced. It worked very well and Prussia started conquering its neighbours, until they too realized they needed a school system.

i think after 14, kids should make a decision to either enter apprenticeships or continue into academia

or we make the decision for them based on academic performance

Because school at least protects them for a little while, like putting a body into cold storage while the brain is still hot and moldable, and in order for larger systems to try to absorb different skillsets into their machinery.

School isn't just meant to teach you the material. It's to prepare you for a life in society. You practice getting up, showing up, accomplishing tasks on schedule, getting along with people, and so on. They aren't just teaching you math; they're getting you ready to show up and follow the rules of a job.

No, kids should be able to choose their curriculum, their classroom design, their teacher, and their future.

I am a teacher, you use a lot of the skills you learn in school without even thinking about it.

Tbh you could solve a lot of problems at once by letting people do something like Eternal University in which they get free housing and food and education in exchange for helping out at the school every now and then or volunteering in their city or even developing useful stuff to improve existing stuff. Idk just a thought

Because it ensures the maximum number of people will be able to do something with their lives

>Homeroom -> Recess -> Gym -> Recess -> Lunch -> Nap Time -> Recess -> End

Bodns in the brain between neurones will get better of studying .

>making friends with a bunch of christcucks
ew, no.

Primary and secondary education isn't about forcing students to memorize arcane knowledge. Its purpose is to instill the intellectual faculties of critical thinking, reasoning, and methods of analysis. Its purpose is the slow absorption of these faculties which will teach them not what to think, but how to think. And while most of the details are not important the broad familiarity in the subjects of math, the humanities, grammar and literature, and science will serve to prepare them for specific career where one or more of those disciplines will come in handy.

This
It's very short-sighted to act as though nobody needs to go to school past the age of 10 because you, specifically, aren't using trigonometry and basic chemistry in your daily life

>forced
another form of (((control)))

Becase they have to learn how to function in a primitive society, you dumb ass underage nigger.

School doesn't teach people "how to think". It's wishful thinking. Psychologists have known for a century that far transfer of learning doesn't occur very often.

Almost nobody needs to know trigonometry or basic chemistry.

Here's a summary of the literature on transfer of learning:

>transfer is especially important to learning theory and educational practice because very often the kinds of transfer hoped for do not occur. The classic investigation of this was conducted by the renowned educational psychologist E. L. Thorndike in the first decades of the 20th century. Thorndike examined the proposition that studies of Latin disciplined the mind, preparing people for better performance in other subject matters. Comparing the performance in other academic subjects of students who had taken Latin with those who had not, Thorndike (1923) found no advantage of Latin studies whatsoever. In other experiments, Thorndike and Woodworth (1901) sought, and generally failed to find, positive impact of one sort of learning on another. Thorndike concluded that transfer depended on ``identical elements'' in two performances and that most performances were simply too different from one another for much transfer to be expected. In terms of the rough near-far distinction, near transfer is much more likely than far transfer.

>Thorndike's early and troubling findings have reemerged again and again in other investigations. For instance, the advent of computer programming as a school subject matter stimulated the proposal that computer programming developed general problem solving skills, much as Latin was thought to cultivate mental discipline. Unfortunately, several experiments seeking a positive impact of learning to program on problem solving and other aspects of thinking yielded negative results (see Pea and Kurland 1984, Salomon and Perkins 1987).

Schools are indoctrination camps.

The chaff rarely understands what happens to the wheat.

And yet they chose 'people of color' as their preferred pc name.

Incorrect. Check your order of operations, and there is no C because we are not evaluating an indefinite integral.

if soy makes men feminine, what does it do to girls? make them more feminine?
why don't girls drink more soy milk?

The answer is "do your own homework".

literally me; i wish I had spent my HS years going out with grills instead of being a fucking shut in watching anime and playing vidya

Schools are not supposed to teach kids "how to think", they should teach them "how to learn"

of course, this is just wishful thinking nowadays

You are correct. I did not simplify the original properly.

First derivative is x/3

school is for retards who need to be guided in learning. patricians don't need guidance or a teacher to learn subjects
most of the students who need guidance end up forgetting the subjects

Attached: 4.jpg (690x1001, 219K)

The idea is to give them a general education so they can be prepared to go into a specialized field on college.
Problem is that high school courses have gotten too far into the specialized areas yet don't teach you actually useful life shit like how to do your taxes or build your credit or put out a grease fire.

Also schools serve as a state daycare since most families can't afford a stay at home parent these days.
