I don't think any kind of libertarian ideology cares about the "good of humanity" or "common good" because those values can only be enforced by authority.
Nothing about libertarian-ism (except the American Libertarian Party's weird interpretation of it) is pro degeneracy. If anything it is against it. Things such as tax codes, giving tax breaks to single mothers, affirmative action for non-whites, socialized healthcare for those who refuse to take care of their bodies, bailouts for bad businesses, and welfare covering those who refuse to work. Are all enforced by the government and help spread degeneracy.
If removal of the gov indeed would not stop single mother hood, homosexuality, race mixing, obesity, or vice. But the incentives to do it would be reduced, and people would have to be able to compensate their degeneracy using their own means.
Not being allowed to decide things for our selves have led to things such as this recent air strike in Syria, the refuge crisis, the stopping of Brexit, and of course getting drafted into pointless wars with no benefit in fighting like Vietnam.
The world needs libertarian-ism more than ever. Doing so would reduce degeneracy, stop pointless wars, and stop the EU from becoming the USSR 2.0.
