There's different people in different societal positions but there's no real "establishment". Our society is set up to have checks and balances with different people holding different power so it may seem there's some major "establishment" but there really isn't. I always used to consider myself a proletariet, a victim of the establishment as they make every decision and im just some pawn in their game. I spoke to some black guys and they refer to cops as if they were in the establishment. My dads the police chief of my city and when they found that out they basically said that im part of the "system which is fucking with my people".
I'm obviously not part of the establishment but to those people I was or at least my dad was. People in high positions must feel the exact same way when people refer to them as the "establishment" or "elites" or whatever.
Although there does seem to be many politicians who can't act because other politicians have dirt on them. Thats why i think so much bad shit in the news about Trump. Because he doesn't cave to their threats.
