Depends on the drugs. Cannabis, most hallucinogens, and most entheogens are good for you. I actually would argue that using "drug" to describe these would be inaccurate unless it's a separate definition of the word. By the same technicality as cannabis or mushrooms, food is a drug.
Hard drugs, in my opinion, are a completely different story. People who sell heroin should be lined up against a wall and shot. Oddly enough, I learned this by doing cocaine at a young age and quitting when I was 16 (I'm 29 now). In my opinion for someone of reasonable intelligence, I would recommend trying drugs as soon as possible so you can know for yourself the consequence before being at risk of ruining your life (easy to quit drugs when you are young, not easy when you are older).

I actually just got off of methylphenidate. Feeling pretty good about it. If you've been on it for several years, try going without it for at least 2 weeks and make sure you still need it.
