Help me Jow Forums. First time father of a 10mo kid. I'm trying my best to avoid the tricks of Chosen ones. Is Fluoridation safe for kids? Dr. recommended fluoride drops, place I live doesn't Fluoridate their water.
I grew up in CA and I think they did it there and I have excellent teeth all things considered. Everything I read is conflicting information whether to do it or not.

yes. That's all you need to know. Tap also has birth control hormones. You either need to get a really good water filter or buy water in glass bottles. I know it's expensive but if you really want to avoid all the potential effects that's what you have to do.

We've given him a few drops over the past few months after I read a little about it and it seemed safe. Seems like it's very small chance (almost non-existent) of developmental problems or lower as long as dosage is small ( it is).
Weigh that against better teeth, seems worth it. Now I don't know. Anti-fluoride info reads like anti-vaccers though.

At 10 months, I wouldn't give it to them. When they're older just get toothpaste with fluoride in it and make sure they don't swallow it.

besides, fluorapatite only restores enamel because it imitates hydroxyapatite which is the actual substance that your enamel consists of. oh, and you can get toothpaste that contains that. I use doterra, but it's not organic, I don't think..
I'd also consider being concerned about using organic produce. Especially milk, and baby formula, lol
