Doug, like Rob Ford and Trump are just populists, not conservatives. They will exploit your outrage at the current system and when in power sell you out when it's expedient. As mayor, Rob did a few good things and his triumph was privatizing garbage collection. However he left Toronto in worse shape than he found it with a multi billion dollar subway extension we didn't need. Pure pork that was done for purely political reasons will fuck transit in this city for decades. Rob was just a godawful meme mayor, I have zero confidence Doug will be much different.
