How did the US get so diverse and so multicultural? It is now becoming a problem. Have the US always had a shitty immigration system?

It might surprise you to know that California was over 90% white and Republican before this
The 1965 immigration act. Immigration used to pretty much only be for northern Europeans. Now anyone in the world can come in. It is honestly hard to believe that the president and congress of that time could have so little forethought as to not know this bill would eventually turn America minority white. Ted Kennedy said that it wouldn't change the ethnic demographics but how could anyone be so stupid as to believe him. Obviously if you let anyone for all over the world in, then you're going to be changed drastically.
Mexicans
muh USA
>when you can't even tell if these are real or fake anymore
what is the world coming to?
The Us nearly had a melt down when they started letting Italians in. It was never this diverse until only 40 years ago.
lol loser
Why the fuck would anyone cover these retards names.
The US educational system told everyone that we were a "melting pot of cultures" and everyone bought it, hook, line, and sinker, but forgot to mention, conveniently, that we were a "melting pot of EUROPEAN Cultures".
