I downloaded the software. Played around with it a bit, and made some unconvincing face swaps of Barbara Spectre and Nancy Pelosi. The problem is that it takes about 7 hours to train the neural network each time you run it. This means I can only make one a day realistically, and every deep fake I’ve made so far has had visual artifacts that give it away, because it’s hard to find 1080p footage of politicians that is useful for subversion.

In other words, if A looks up, there must be clear frames of B looking up. If B turns their head to the right, you must have clear frames of A turning their head to the right.
