how did they end up as a homeless how did they fuck up so bad?
How did they end up as a homeless how did they fuck up so bad?
Usually a spiral of drug abuse resulting from untreated mental illness.
Being buttfucked as a kid #pizzagate
This, but some of them choose it. They "live rough" so they can feel rough, it's more common somewhere it doesn't get below zero at night. Lots of women become this way because of domestic abuse.
1. Drugs
2. Ex-Wife
Pick your poison but most all into those two categories.
realizing they can survive without working because they don't need to devote 80% of their income to a parking spot for their body
been homeless. It's not the end of the world, and its kind of liberating in a few ways. No rent, no electricity bill, no water bill, no car insurance.
But on the otherhand, everything about your life will be 10x harder. ...and by extension, it also teaches you to be a hard motherfucker. How many of these normal people could survive a week with no shelter, on the cold streets? How many people know where to procure food when you have nothing?
When I was homeless I ate squirrels, pigeons, and foraged plants.
I bet you even got a parasite or two :)
Also, see this guy is right.
You work 40+ hours a week to put a roof over your head, and food on the table. You might be better off if you just BUILT A HOUSE and GREW SOME FOOD.
Dogs are expensive
Good. I really hope to die before 65. Instead of retirement we should have euthanasia.
I became homeless because i wanted to be like a taoist haiku writer giggling and running around the woods. Ended up hopping freight trains across country and getting hooked on dope and acid. It was worth it.
There's a youtube channel which interviews bums and most of them actually were orphans that turned 18 and got kicked out, some were kicked out by their parents upon turning 18, many had abusive or drug addicted parents that kicked them out even before they became adults.
anyone thats ever worked at shelters or worked directly with the homeless will tell you that they desire to be that way. They choose it.
Mostly CAPITALISM.
Some are just lazy though. But those end up on social welfare most of the time, not begging in the streets.
>You might be better off if you just BUILT A HOUSE
Ever built a house? I have. Land ain't free. Materials ain't free. Drilling a well ain't free. Septic ain't free.
But. I did manage to build a half million dollar waterfront home for about 120K. It just took ten years to finish it.
>how did they end up as a homeless
They and/or their environment were fucked up while growing up.
They cannot hold jobs.
Most cannot even do normal daily stuff like hygiene.
Hence they are an unhygienic mess.
I mean no one in their right mind would say "It would be great to be hungry while living in shit and smelling like shit, and have untreated medical issues which causes me pain and/or debilitation."
Most of the retarded neets on this board can't even trace load paths. A neet built home wouldn't even have a fucking header in it.
how did you managed to get out of homelessness and how did you get in tha situation of losing your home in the first place?
It's very easy to end up in that situation now, especially if you can think for yourself and have even an ounce of self-respect.
The consensus path is a walking death. Conform. Obey. Don't ask questions. Especially ones like "is this really worth it?"
My father became homeless and said that the situation turned him into a better man.
He lost contact with his family due to mental health problems but he was never a drug user or alcoholic. He said he was sleeping rough one night and he realised that to get out of the situation he was going to have to spend every waking second of his life from that moment forward either performing a task to improve his situation or when not physically working, thinking of strategies to alleviate him self.
He saved up £300 whilst in a homeless shelter and bought a car to start a business delivering furniture for thrift shops.
He now runs his own events business and is extremely focused and dedicated.
my buddy is a framer and he could raise a small home in a few days, materials are only a small fraction of the cost
Alcohol yo. Druggies at least try to find place to junk out.
land, permits, inspections, labor, and legal fees always cost the most.
Broken family usually, it's typically a lack of support.
Think back to how many times you'd have been fucked if you didn't have a friend or family to keep paying for your lifestyle, especially in your mid to late teens.
There's a homeless lad who showed up at the shops around my house the past few months, never had one in my area before, go talking to him one day. He's in his 50s, he's had a decent job and a wife with 2 kids but he lost his job, his wife then decided to fuck off and find someone else with a better paying job, turned his kids against him and he had nothing to fall back on. I believed the dude when he said he wasn't on drugs, enjoyed his alcohol but wasn't addicted, seemed like an honest lad who just fell into a bad spot.
Other people can be the biggest pitfall for someone with a caring heart.
