The Strongest, most cultured and stable Empires were always christian, or had element of mystical platonicism which worked all the same and STILL recognize a single universal God. Anything else crumbled in less than a century at most, except for the Chinese and the Japanese, which were essentially culturally and ethnically tied to one another to form their state eventually.
