KOREAN GOVERNMENT EXPOSED FOR RUNNING A SHILL OPERATION
President Moon and Senator Kim exposed to have been talking for 1+ year (even during elections) as Kim made a team of 50 shill/hackers who infiltrate the major news sites/SNS/forums and make shill threads and upvote them
They have been found to have made 62500 average upvotes on posts defending their electorial platform/government
The shill in charge whistleblowed since he didn't get the position he was promised
Just imagine how many countries this is happening in right now and we don't even know.
Jordan Cook
The shill in charge (King) was arrested on April for DDOS and planned attack on websites
Ever since February every political article was spammed with the message "Senator Kim, Osaka" with absolutely no context whatsoever
2 monthes later it's found out King was promisd the position of Osaka Consulate, but was betrayed. So he went deranged and spammed "Senator Kim, Osaka" on 1000+ news posts.
This also brings up a major issue that the government chose the consulate head 2+ monthes in advance and kept it secret, which is directly breaking the constitutional laws
I thought SK was way more modern and have better troops. Why not kill kim and take the country?

Fucking HA, 2nd or 3rd time South Korea has been caught be corrupted in the past 3 years. I wish more people would see this to see what's happening in our/their own countries.
Every single country. Most websites don't use captcha and it's incredibly easy to make semi-learning bots. A $50,000 investment can fund you an entire server rack for a year and run a few thousand instances at the same time.
If you got a bigger budget you can even rent nodes and add technology that defeats captcha, increased learning capabilities, data scraping, command & control capabilities, etc.
It would be more surprising to see which organizations do NOT bombard people with propaganda using bots.
Joseph Bailey
this is from the liberal new government who criticized the old cult govt and said they were clean, ironical how they were shady as fuck in the back

Fuck Korea. I am pretty neutral towards gooks in general and somewhat friendly towards Japs, but those I really fucking hate those dog-eating slopes. I don't know, may be that they have no real culture and remind me more of ants than human beings.
the shill in charge(King) was a famous blogger (10 million visitors) and 3 hours before getting arrested, he wrote a post on his facebook page, saying "You all talk shit to me like you know everything, you don't know anything. You want to know who is pulling the strings?"
Matthew Miller
>probably Over half of the posts on Jow Forums at this point are shills, and I'd be willing to bet 80% of them are bots using machine learning. It's fucking annoying.
Kek >japan >not corrupt Its same in every single country. They are all fucked up. Just look at ours. By the way Ive never seen dog restaurants or dog eating ppl maybe im oblivious idk but I never seen anything like that when I was in Korea so fuck you. So few canucks fuck their sisters and eat tide pods and get blowjob from their dogs then somehow canada is responsible for all that?

The chapter that explains why international flights all mandate the use of English for communication? What's that got to do with South Korean corruption?
Hudson Fisher
The hierarchical and high power distance index (high PDI) nature of Korean culture makes it very easy for superiors to abuse their power and ignore valid advice, often using mitigated speech, from those below them. For example, in 1997, when a plane's ground proximity warning went off, instead of saying "we're going to die, PULL UP NOW" the flight engineer hints with "captain, the weather radar has helped a lot".
This mentality persists today in other areas than aviation and is especially prevalent in governmental structure.
It has everything to do with the current corruption following corruption in the last administration.

Ahh okay, I see what you're saying now. Not how I would have made the point but I get it. Funny enough I know I bought a copy of the book years ago but I don't seem to have it anymore, I must have left it with a sibling at some point.
>The hierarchical and high power distance index (high PDI) nature of Korean culture makes it very easy for superiors to abuse their power and ignore valid advice This is a problem in my organization, too. Thankfully I don't care if I get fired so I speak my mind very frankly. My superiors don't like it but my peers think I'm some kind of god.
Nathan Gutierrez
>instead of saying "we're going to die, PULL UP NOW" the flight engineer hints with "captain, the weather radar has helped a lot" >the flight engineer hints with "captain, the weather radar has helped a lot" What? Seriously, what did he even mean by that?

give me quick rundown i got interested when i heard something about freemasons. So something about this dude and moon being freemason sent by vatican and doing rituals. ok. SOMEONE GIVE ME QUICK RUNDOWN IM INTERESTED
tl;dr: >President Moon Jae-in is leader of Democratic Party >he's also a cuck but that's irrelevant right now >3 members of the party were found to be using a "rigging program" that they only acquired "through coincidence" to overinflate conservative comments online to the point it was obvious bots were involved, so as to make conservatives look bad >police say Democratic Party Representitive Kim Kyung-Soo was involved, he denies it poorly and party spokesmen say it's a "witch hunt" >also that he denied to assist in their plan, which is why they were promoting conservative comments
That's pretty much it. I am not Korean and don't speak Korean but can read the letters and lived there for a while, pretty sure Chosun Ilbo and Yonhap are their biggest news agencies but neither have English articles on this and it's not being widely reported in English based on my google search, but if you type his name in the Korean alphabet (김경수) it seems to be very widely reported
Asher Brown
members of the party were found to be using a "rigging program" that they only acquired "through coincidence" to overinflate conservative comments online to the point it was obvious bots were involved, so as to make conservatives look bad So, grand-scale bot false-flagging? That's something new. Will they be the first country to criminalize shilling?
Colton Long
they found 30+ telegram rooms that Senator Kim Kyung Jin was using to give orders to the 50-man shill group, the politician is denying all responsibility for this though
Joshua Johnson
To be more specific:
>Moon takes office >is a cuck just like he said he'd be >koreans realize they don't really like it so his popularity wanes quickly >wants peace with NK, which would be great but most Koreans are disillusioned whether this will ever actually happen and don't like his attempts to suck fatboi's dick >winter olympics are in SK this year >SK doesn't march under its own flag >Koreans are furious >dem partymembers create 600 fake accounts on Naver and shill their comments critical of this to the top to make it look like outrage is manufactured
This specifically is new, but using botnets of fake accounts to make your opposition retarded is kind of the standard in the US.
can I get more info on this? Only found info on 김경수 and I can't read hangul past the letters
Blake Edwards
What the actual fuck man.
I still have the theory that women having internet access was a mistake. It's not that every woman is bad, far from it. But there's always a small group that radicalizes and, for some reason that appears to be universal, start hating on men, and start shutting their voices and everyone elses' for that matter.
Cameron Baker
>the 8 is real f-fuck...

Starting february Korean internet boards were plagued with these spams saying "Kim Kyung Jin Osaka" (2nd image posted), people were perplexed as fuck since there was no context whatsoever
End of March (1.5 months) a famous blogger/personality 'DruidKing" makes an ominous facebook post saying the crowd doesn't know shit who is pulling the ropes, and there's more going on behind their backs, and "he can blow everything out of cover"
early April DruidKing gets arrested by police for ddosing + group attacks on media platforms
he confesses that he was working with Senator Kim since last year in basically a shill division (Him + 50~ other spammers + botting program) that infiltrates conversative sites / female websits (Current pres is known by females as a pro-female feminist president) / News outlet comment sections to shill for the President's election campaign and his govt after election
DruidKing asked for the Head Consulate position of the Osaka Embassy, but apparently early this year he was betrayed and Kim told him he gave the position to some other associate
DruidKing became furious, severed all ties and spammed all news outlets with "Kim Kyung Jin Osaka" 10000+ times and also spambotted all comments now criticizing the govt (He fake upvoted average of 60000 points per comment that criticized the govt during the Olympics), now he got caught and blew the whistle
Kim is trying to deny everything despite him having direct orders to King
King's internet personality (facebook/blog/etc) all disappeared suddenly
>>In an effort to control rumors about and criticism of the president in the wake of the disaster, a cyberinvestigation team was established in September 2014 to monitor social media and censor or prosecute those perceived as defaming Park. This led to millions of South Koreans seeking “cyberasylum” by using foreign-based social media platforms. It also resulted in an overall distrust in government.
Dylan Hughes
Korean politics and Korean manhwa aren't really all that different. Reading the batty shit in Noblesse or Bastard isn't that different than catching up on Korean news to me.
Evan Gray
I got involved in an argument on /sci/ with a couple of bots about whether or not race can be determined by genetics, then they glitched out and went into a loop. Nope.
Oliver Sullivan
That's interesting. Any idea how normal koreans are reacting to this? When I was there I noticed (and was told by some people) that most Koreans don't really pay attention to politics but that seems strange considering how much you fuckers protest.
Unrelated, do you know of any way I could work in Korea other than as an English teacher?
Joshua James
In Korea people really like to take sides by ideology, so if you get into politics people view you as either a far lefty or a far rightwing, having liberal view is pretty common but being well versed in politics is viewed not positively afaik
Koreans are very similar as in they share the same news around (regardless of topic) so for big news like this I think most people will know
As for working in Korea what do you not like about the teaching job? insecure job conditions? teaching itself?
If you dont mind teacher but want a more secure job, and maybe have some education you could try for a position at International Schools, they are really trendy among rich Korean parents who don't want their kids to leave the country but want their kdis to learn in a foreign envrionment (They pay up to 40k per year starting grade 1~12), teachers are undermanned and they get paid pretty well
Other than that, I guess working in a company (I know a few that work in trading companies)
Xavier Hill
yeah I noticed that, the only communist I ever met in SK was a fat Swedish girl though lel
I like South Korean culture more than the US because they're more poilite, more solitary, and there are no fat people so I'd like to live there really, teaching doesn't pay much, hoping for $60k USD or more but getting paid that much in Korea is rare for Koreans so I'm not hopeful. I have education in the medical field but am going back to school for economics, what do you mean by trading companies?
Luis Ross
This. Korea is a big joke run by conglomerates
Justin Russell
like selling shit overseas, I have friends working in pretty high positions selling Korean medical gear overseas, cosmetics overseas, etc
60k is decent in US but it's pretty high especially starting up in Korea when the cost of living is like 2/3 of US (or even lower)
I know for sure the teaching job gets you around 50k at good international schools after 4~5 years of teaching and they pay you your house and car, so maybe?
Nathaniel Sanders
yeah that sounds like pretty much what I want to do, there's a lot that could be done with Korean pharma internationally in general so that seems good.
if they pay for house (I assume you mean apartment) and car then that is pretty great actually, I might look into that. Thanks user, I'll try not to be another dumb American who can't handle soju if I go back
Sebastian Bennett
Good luck, I mean, Korea's an extremely good place to live in (If you don't mind the crowdedness), but it's not really great for working (hence why I'm here)
Andrew Hughes
I lived there for a year while in the Army with all kinds of restrictions limiting my fun, the kimchi stench, lack of public sanitation, and crowdedness doesn't bother me.
One last thing though, if I work at a university is it looked down upon to fuck the students? I know most older or more conservative people don't like Korean women to be with foreign men, but the younger men I spoke with didn't care or encouraged it even, and somehow a huge portion of the international students in Korea are hot European women
